lol did u just pull this logic out of ur ass. common sense la, the closest to the noise source is the loudest. the stated highway is as high at 40 floor?

ppl here trying to justify lower and mid floor coz extra few k added for each higher floor for loan. market already dictated the higher the better. Get the one you can afford as simple as that.

get the highest u can afford. affordability first, then preference. i have a high unit facing expressway where ppl usually avoid. I m very satisfy because i have beautiful view every night. I survey the other unit facing other direction, they have zero view but owner probably dont care about view. to me, everything matters. Make a checklist priority, tick according to ur preference.

Noisy but can handle. close window, down the curtain, open ac. Lazy do soundproofing, u can do if u want. We can always fix the noise but we cannot fix the view. Thats my opinion la. Sunday night relax at home, u open curtain want to get fresh air, u choose to see open air view or blocked view by condos or not so pleasant view. Up to u la lol.

some ppl are busy, having kids left and right, probably dont have time to enjoy. i guess la. Always survey for the best bang for your buck.

oh btw, low to mid floor u dont expect sunlight on your yard/kitchen coz top floor will block it entirely. You even have to turn on your lights on a broad daylight.

And if your condo is landlocked by surrounding condo, you do not expect to have a good ventilation. The worst of the worst unit is where u live in the centre of low floor. You have little to zero natural ventilation. Dont mention good view, you will have zero view.

self correct: theres a effect called Stack ventilation where cooler air enters from low floor. logically, it is not all bad for low floor or all good for high floor. Just that low floor do not have breeze wind coming straight to your window.

open the window, let air flow. If no air, then use fan. If the condo has 40 floors, i think sweet spot is 33-37 floor la. U dont want to get the highest or the lowest floor coz if any shit were to happen, you will be the one leading the pack

i used to see this way also, but to be precise u have to see ur unit/condo direction. my condo dont really face sun rise, so I have no issue with heat. As i read more post, i also dont really face "waiting longer for lift". My lift is pretty fast, that may not be applicable to old condos. I think modern lift is pretty fast by today standard la.

additionally, i get no mosquitos, house fly, gecko, lipas or weird insects. Higher unit usually eliminated all these. Smaller insects are inevitable coz they live everywhere.
