Toshiba. Mine, including family members own more then 8 years. Still good.

Toshiba 20 years already still going strong and easy maintenance. Repairman said just replaced the sensor.

toshiba home appliances now is technically midea now. not the same toshiba 20 years ago.

my hitachi inverter still strong this 2025 will be 10 years

MIDEA is a pretty good brand. For the price, it is very good value. MIDEA knows they have to compete with many heavyweights so they made sure to give quality products. I didnt think much about MIDEA until 1 day I realised so many of my friends and relatives have midea products in their homes.... and none of them said anything bad about Midea.

HAIER is another brand that is competing directly with MIDEA. I dont know much about Haier cos I dont know anyone using Haier products. Anyone can comment?

motors have warranty from 5 to 12 years as i see across the brands .
means they a fairly reliable.

as for reliability of fridges.
depends also on user .
stable power supply will less surges
temp settings .
dont overload the fridge with food items . blocking vents etc..

For me is Sharp Plasma, i'm still using it since 2013 and i am thinking to change to a new because of it's efficiently. Motor keep working.

National cannot be used in the US because it was registered by other company. So, Matsushita Electrics started using brand Panasonic. Lat time for audio product they use brand Technic for the US market. Now almost all products sold under Panasonic brand.

Well, Panasonic products are result of takeover like Quasar from Motorola. Sanyo brand is also changed to Panasonic as well. I believe the Panasonic fridge is originally Hitachi brand. If you look at its multi-door units, resembles Hitachi but just different capacity to be different. Last time I used to have Hitachi video camera which resembled the Panasonic one and it was Hitachi that released the product first.

I can also say if you are not lucky you get bad one. Compressor is probably made by other companies. The technology of fridge is like air-cond and they are all similar in technology (the way it works). For me I choose fridge on which interior compartments whichever practical for my need. With inverter technology, now the compressor warranty is no less than 10 yhears unlike previously and that is the most expensive part of the fridge I believe.

use samsung.
last one rosak, replace with another samsung. the 2nd one already 6-7 years i think. the old one, dont know when gonna repair it.

HAIER buy amerika GE and japan national sub sanyo brand

Haier products are low quality and cepat rosak. Have bad experience with their induction cookers and airconds. Their TVs are bad too based on what I have heard / read. So will not consider them at all.
For fridge, I prefer Sharp or LG. May try out the Toshiba ones which are now made by Midea if its good value for money.

Hitachi

House got 2 fridges. 1 is LG 1 is Haier. Both so far so good!

I'm using their fridge. So far so good. My friend bought their TV, it's value for money. Not as great as Sony/Samsung but worth every penny paid it seems.

Samsung. Been using for 12 years already. Warranty 10 years I think, so far no problem

sharp , still running after 20 years , decided to replace with another sharp with 5 star energy rating purely to optimize my tnb usage

Our Hitachi fridge lasted 12 years already and still going strong though.
