inverters are over rated. a non Inverter House fridge doesnt consume a lotta electric. It is those industrial huge fridges that makan a lotta electric so yes... inverters for those.

anything japanese probably still reliable. Hitachi, Panasonic, etc
heard Chinese brands like Hisense, Midea - while maybe not as reliable, spare parts are readily available & cheaper if needs replacing.

i use korean tho. a Daewoo inverter fridge. i think already more than 5 years, can't remember.
had been repaired a couple times though, so if your criteria = nvr broken/no repairs needed at all, then probably not this one

If you want to use for more than 10 years, yes
Non inverter fridge nothing to fail
The most relay, starter.
Keep some spare at home. Rm5 item

Now using Sharp. The LG fridge i used before this had repair issues. There's a cover at the back that cannot be removed to replace a component.
