Use "Manage storage" in WhatsApp to delete old or unwanted photos/videos/audio, the backup size will reduce significantly.

It clone installs the app, doesnt clone your credentials.

If lazy just do smart switch and re-register/login, if start anew just download app 1 by 1 again since you never know what bloat you have in your phone

funfact : if you login to playstore with the same account, it should start installing the apps you are currently using.

I think most apps you can transfer over. Login most you have to register again but saves the hassle of re-download. I used to setup from new, but prefer to use smartswitch nowadays.

Whatsapp due to the importance of it. The best way imo is still to do manually. Backup right before you want to transfer, then log on new phone, it will sign you out on the old phone. The new phone will then become the new primary phone.

You will need to link back all your other linked devices (tablet, PC, watch) etc

Every time i switch new phone ,copy whole whatsapp folder to new phone
And other thing never transfer, fresh start
All ewallt banking app log out re-log in on new phone

some banks/app bind with device, need to unbind in old phone first

banking usually bind to device. need to unbind first from old device then can bind to new one. e-wallet/astro go is ok. just log in using normal log in.
