I joined water rafting in KK once, and I thought it was a very dangerous sport.

I would rather sunbath in swimming pool

got one time Co trip made me do tubing in Taman Negara

damn scary wei...I kena caught in some torrid part of the river flow and some tree branches.

luckily the instructor came to rescue me in a motor boat.

I was clinging on to dear life to the branches.

last time my co took us for teambuilding take outward bound trip, sail n row whailer boat to an abandon island far far away from Pangkor Laut island.

row boat for 9 hours then when wind came sail for another 9 hours.

damn scary wei...

then stop by abandon island with lighthouse, with a salty well, take water and camp overnight kena bitten by sandflies.

Stay for 3 days 2 nights, cook own food with campfire then row and sail back to Lumut.

Half the colleagues dunno how to swim wei....I cannot imagine if boat overturn.

Crazy boss, even tried to make my pregnant colleague to come, luckily she MC.

My ex co, private co

while we were rowing halfway, got one guy stomach ache want to pangsai...so we threw a tire tied to a rope out ot the back of the boat, where he had to sit there and pangsai into the sea...

during the sail and rowing, half the crew, developed sea sick and puked into the sea.

damn hot and we were baked by the sun.

reach the island want to pangsai also have to pangsai on the beach behind the bushes.

nobody live on the island, it was an island about few football fields wide only.

outward bound would obviously say no to this.

it was my boss, but thank goodness the pregnant lady didn't go.

white collar workers and young adults go for outward bound, what is the difference? not as if we old men and women.

Wonder what's the accident/fatality rate of such a program.

Heard of OBS, would think this program would at least be supervised by the facilitators, they will come in during emergencies, call for medical evacuation, etc.

friends won't organize this together., rather use the money organize trip to Komodo island or Bali.

its either parents who want their children to go for adventure or co organize teambuilding.

its like going to summer camp for american children.

while we were rowing, a boat was following us. The whailer boat had a trained instructor tag along with us.

not sure about accident/fatality rate.

It's ok, follow the try guys, no recipe nasi lemak. Ingredients prepare by HR, ensure everything halal. Bosses be the judge of who win
