The wider the better. |

oh i see!
lx3 24mm tz7 25mm fz35 27mm seems lx3 winning every single thing. even sensor size bigger. btw, i got one question. i really need those 20mb/s SDHC card for my fz35? because the video recording is at the rate of 17mb/s. but those high speed sd are so expensive. i plan to buy another 8gb or 16 gb card on top of the original 4gb. Added on September 17, 2009, 5:28 pm QUOTE(gigigatgat @ Sep 17 2009, 04:10 PM) TZ series has got no manual function. the latest TZ7 as u know is a video camera and compact camera all rolled into one. what's bracketing?FZ on the other hand has a wide range of capabilities. It has got manual functions, bigger zoom and also a closer macro. TZ = 5 cm, FZ is also 1 cm or closer as long as theirs's light. TZ of coz has got a smaller body if compared with FZ range. For FZ range, the flash brightness can be controlled and even bracketing can be done thus giving you more control over your camera. This post has been edited by DarkForXe: Sep 17 2009, 05:28 PM |

Added on September 17, 2009, 5:28 pm what's bracketing? in simple terms take many copies of the same thing in different setting. color= 1 b/w, 1 sepia, 1 normal exposure, +2, 0 , -2.... like that lor. cos some times u wanna combine them for HDR. but FZ has hdr inside already. one more difference is if u like to edit, FZ series can shoot photos in raw format. ^^ |

TZ7 is supposedly the best Lumix compact, but can't afford it at that price.
To cover the inadequacy of the zoom of LX3, am thinking of a TZ4. <Rm800 for x10 zoom |

QUOTE(gzavincent @ Sep 19 2009, 02:15 PM) For compact and versatile, I would say TZ7 cos it has wide angle 25mm, 12x Optical Zoom LEICA Lens and HD Movie Recording in AVCHD Lite. Best of all a very good Ai, just point and shoot! But don't expect its low light performance to be like LX3. |

Guys, i think we should start a thread for FZ series and TZ series since there are quite the same and most importantly, there are not enough user being active for either of them. so combining both will make the thread more active. Anyone willing become the thread starter? and keep updating the owner list etc.

Can u ask navilink to change the thread title to TZ and FZ series ? With combine thread, we can view posted pictures in one thread. This post has been edited by aeiou228: Sep 20 2009, 01:17 PM |
