oh. between tz and fz, the main difference is size. i see. i always tot tz also big big type. Only if lx3 comes with 20x zoom, then the world is perfect

oh i see!
lx3 24mm
tz7 25mm
fz35 27mm

seems lx3 winning every single thing. even sensor size bigger.

btw, i got one question. i really need those 20mb/s SDHC card for my fz35? because the video recording is at the rate of 17mb/s. but those high speed sd are so expensive. i plan to buy another 8gb or 16 gb card on top of the original 4gb.

TZ series has got no manual function. the latest TZ7 as u know is a video camera and compact camera all rolled into one.

FZ on the other hand has a wide range of capabilities. It has got manual functions, bigger zoom and also a closer macro. TZ = 5 cm, FZ is also 1 cm or closer as long as theirs's light.

TZ of coz has got a smaller body if compared with FZ range. For FZ range, the flash brightness can be controlled and even bracketing can be done thus giving you more control over your camera.

what's bracketing?

Guys, i think we should start a thread for FZ series and TZ series since there are quite the same and most importantly, there are not enough user being active for either of them. so combining both will make the thread more active. Anyone willing become the thread starter? and keep updating the owner list etc.
