QUOTE(kunamiya @ Nov 15 2007, 12:58 PM) will it have lag problem ? doing iweb and imovie All these are isolated case. You can't expect Apple to be perfect as well.here is the restarted problem http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TpGWUqHx6kM&feature=related and there http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZZLWEon58M But one thing good is, if there is any problem during the 1 year warranty period, Apple will do everything to make sure your machine works fine. Even if it means changing the whole machine to a new one. |

Not really sure on that cause I never used iWeb/iMovie before.
But it shouldn't lag. Apple won't be dumb enough to build a machine that is not compatible with their software. Upgrade RAM la, should be safe if you do that. |

QUOTE(kunamiya @ Nov 15 2007, 01:55 PM) I've been using iMovie for years, since they first started it ~2000 and have been using it very extensively on my Intel Macs (Mini and Macbook) since last year. It's really not GPU intensive at all, it doesn't require much on the graphics side, it's a lot more intensive on the hard disk and CPU side. There's no lagging, don't worry be happy |

Here...
http://www.macsales.com/ A reputable seller. They sell cheap RAM for Macs. The killer is shipping though! If you can, maybe you should organize a bulk of some kind so that shipping can be shared. I would be interested |
