but then now jus think off how to do it without glu or silicon, coz gerbs will chew it (although my gerbs didnt chew liao)
coz scared later i done the same as wat i did, then the thing tear off or wat, then i will feel bad and sorry about it...

just got a new gerb boy today .... n also got my 1st gerbil bite mark at the same time. maybe that little fellow is too nervous kua.

Added on November 22, 2007, 12:09 amyup ... he did ... but i can see its because he was nervous ... i washed the tank then put in new bedding then put the new boy in a cage with the rest outside the cage ... that ok? so far i dont see any aggresive behaviour from others lor ...

am thinking let them be like that for few days then only take him out for 'true' intro

ya..intro need time..
me took about nearly two month to intro the new gerbil to my previous two girl..
i began the intro with putting the saperated cage in the tank..and it is before puasa month..
then i only can release the new gerbil from that cage in end-middle of raya month..huhu

you got pengsan or not? haha jkjk.. well my bro first time kena bitten by my gerbil at first thought no blood.. then all the sudden quite a lot of blood came out.. he sat on the chair and can see his whole face turned pale and lips were becoming whiter.. LOL... some people see blood already cannot tahan.

Yea.. Intro needs to be done in slow pace. Cannot rush else you'll regret. After the intro even it is success, please do put him back in the new cage like what you did in the first place. Then wait for another intro. It might takes month to intro him to new clan depends on your boys behavior.

about the wheel rite, i plan to spray it, coz some spot become rusted use to the pee of the gerbs, if spray it, wat kind of spray that will not harm the gerbs one ar ?

yaya. haha i tried before. kena bite tat time no blood one. then after a while the blood come out like tape water. haha

Just wanted to share with you guys, did you all know that the villain in Lilo & Stitch namely "Hamsterviel" is actually a gerbil?

Haha, although in the movie/series he does not agree to that and always say that he is "hamster-like", he is still a gerbil and his character was created and based on a gerbil

Hahahahaha..... Now only i know. But he does have a pair of long ears. Muahahahaha....

Haha, when creating a cartoon character based on a real life animal, they will normally alter or change certain parts. In the end they will have the resemblance, but the whole movement and character is totally like the real life animal

See Stitch is based on a sugar glider, all movements and such, big eyes, ears, but he has really short tail compared to the real life one

Today a tank of gerbils just went off for some small animal corner exhibition for kids.... hopefully people would like gerbils heheheh.
