No eye at all....


About 1 month old... empty eye socket..

OMG! no eyes?? my 2nd litter also same age with yours.. been monitoring all since i have them, every night check one by one since i bought the papa n mama gerbil... hehe..

@masculine : so u have to seperate the papa d.. later more cacat pups will be produced pulak.. huhu kesian lo.. u just take care the little fella la.. only one like that izit?? the other normal and doing fine??

thats a pretty sad case mas. hope it wont suffer with that missing eye.

8 pups!!

From my Gerbil mama earlier today!! I went to product training this morning and came back on evening.. She gave birth liao.. Waited since that day when i post bout mentioning i suspect her become fat thingy, TO SEE THE BIRTHING PROCESS but haih~~~ no luck is NO LUCK..

Her pregnant belly looks just like when she had her 1st batch but birthed 7 pups then.. The 2nd time she's pregnant, her belly balloons to the extreme, but only 3 pups which comes in abnormal sizes.. This time, all the 8 pups birthed from her pregnant the same as the first.. Normal size, and all are doing fine..

Why does the above happen? I think it's bout Nutrition!! [correct me if it's wrong ya, Nezu..]

B4 i introduce them to Prestige, i was using Habitrail and mealworms only.. Dats y the 1st batch 7 pups but not all survived.. 5 made it.. And that time mama is very thin.. Then i found this Forum.. Get advised by some expert here!! Haha.. thanks SIFU

Later change to Prestige [Britter Bunny din buy coz OOS], still with the last habitrail [mixing them], kitten kibbles, multivitamin, supplement, vege, fruits, mealworms, super mealworms, etc... Really can see the changes in their Health [their fur, their growing stages, etc]... haha

@tikusniaga : Might as well sell them later.. Coz the 1st Batch pups already living happily with their daddy.. Sine i cant intro them to the male clan, i will consider selling this batch later, when they reached proper age.. If i din find any suitable buyer, i can keep them too.. They are already my responsibility ma.. Can have a house of critters d here...

cos my hamsters cant take out to kia-kia ma, though wanna take them go out if i buy one. can "show off" to my friend

@anderyna : Wan to BUY ONE? Have to get at least 2 la coz they r social creatures ma.. At least a male-male pair or female-female pair lo.. If get a pair of male female, will have a clan like me d => 17 GERBILS..

Make sure u do homework b4 getting them ya.. U can ask around anything if u need here k.. Goodluck in getting ur GERBIL(s).. At least 2 k... Remember lo..!!


@tikusniaga : Can! But i have only agoutis n blacks wo.. Hehe But i dont really wan to exchange for the same colour le.. Coz i have 17 mix of agoutis n blacks d.. No point if i exchange back with the same colour ma rite?? Hehe I am not looking forward to breed them anymore. Interested to buy pups from you , depends on what colour do you have. =P

My gerbil , piccolo is in black . Therefore i wish to adopt a different colour .

sigh.. i think my gerbils are not tame enough..
i never get to hold them..always run away.last night when i try to clean the cage very hard to capture them loo..nevertheless i manage to put them outside the cage.

@soulx : lately [not that lately la, 3 weeks liao] i train them to accept food from my finger.. usually treats like slices of carrots.. small enuf for each to hold.. so any individual wanna have one slice, must come to me.. hehe

this is even better if u use kitten kibbles.. mine will come when i open the jar.. [i put mine in a jar for storage].. then they will come n sniff sniff.. i will give only if they come to me..

try la.. very happy when they catch the idea!! then sometimes when u wanna give treats, put them on ur palm b4 offering treats.. they will eat, sitting on ur palm!!! lol be patience thou..

hope this helps. it doesnt happen in a day or two... 3 weeks is what i get them to do.. everynite if possible k..

yes gerbils are very active. gerbil rarely bite like u can see hamster can get fraiten or scare when we hv suddent movment n they go hide.. but gerbil don't. they very cerious.. when u go near they all will coem out..
