if boil soup/water/stew no need induction hud.

more importantly if household has more than 2 ppl, cook morning, dinner, lunch, get hud. otherwise you are just another consumer being fooled by marketing.

We are using the magic cooker now for soup. Very convenient and easy.

The irony is ktards support EV over fossil fuel.
But all reject electric hob over fossil fuel
*
for me i rather use induction over gas stove any time. overall it is safer compare to EV with a battery.

only those who lazy or refuse to learn to cook properly using induction are the one that claim it is inferior to gas.

if u want dai chow style. normal gas stove also not able to do it, u need those industrial high pressure gas stove. similarly, electric cooker also have industrial range which can heat up the wok in a short time for even more efficient stir fying.

Like #2 mentioned if you cook a lot gas stove is way better than electric

If ts don't frequently cook just buy anything electric stove which suit your need is more than enough.

Scientist have found that Asian women die of cancer more than other ethnic.

They found the reason to be Asian women use gas stove to cook whilst [b]American white people using electric stove.[b]

Induction also got levels to it, those cheap ones only got single coil. The better ones got multiple, so can handle different pot sizes and more even heating.

Ceramic is probably the worst, you waste a lot of energy heating a secondary element between the heat source and the target.
*
Agree on the ceramic. Hence, still thinking if it is worthy to opt for 1 burner out of 3. Thinking can heat up claypot.....else, have to ditch them 🤦🏻‍♂️

Wanna check if any one kind enuff to share experience with induction cooker hobs. I am keen to switch from a gas hob to induction hence seeking sharings. My research shows that there is another option ie ceramic. Read the pros and cons of each but wanna get some real experience.

I am looking at the fujioh hybrid hob which has 2 induction cookers and 1 ceramic.

Mod - can't find any such topics in lyn hence posting here. Do move this thread if there is indeed one that is more appropriate. Thanks a lot!

Ngaku is culinary bangsat bro...

As I'm living in a building with my own backyard, I got the space, modal, and hobbies to buy those quirky weirdo machines and equipment back home to play test test.

Right now, in my backyard there's a Dehydrator that's used to make shrimps, scallops, abalones, lapcheong, etc. A miniature gas stove for rotisserie jiken duck siewyuk etc. A Ninja grill for me to cook the game (I occasionally go hunt deer with friends) I encountered here and there. A smoking cabinet for fishes, meat, etc (to make some Chinese Mala Sausages, or Cured Bacon etc) and plenty plenty moar.

Got my own herb garden also, but bebanyak coriander, bird eye chillies, lettuce, garlic sprouts and chives lel.

But one thing for sure la, good food make your days. Good Spending in some Michelin star restaurants... not really. Unless you're super duper familiar and whoring for those attentions.

I am assuming that you are coming from the point of cost? I don't think electricity would be an issue for my household given my solar system.

This is like comparing how an orang asli that cook with charcoal wood will kantoi cancer moar than a white setan that only know how to make grilled steak and boiled veggies or salads can live much longer.

Lifestyle matters. Electric stove might be alright, but they're for the milder user. Imagine Im roasting the roast ducks, charsiews, siewyuks in electric oven instead of gas oven. Habis saupei lolz.

Still come out fine, but that umph is already not there. Just like how Chinese Eggplant compared to the big fat tasteless only got look aubergines here in the UK grocers.
