I think they don't have solution. They just change here change there to show they got do work, but they know it won't work.
Traffic in KL is so hellish, even on moto I don't want to go. And don't tell me to use sardine can public transport. Fuck KL, especially Bukit Bintang. Traffic there so tight, I can't lane filter. And that traffic light between Times Square and Lot 10 is such a hell hole on weekends. My side already green for 3 or 5 seconds, but traffic from the other side still potong red light. That day I honk them kao kao and show middle finger to a GrabCar driver. Pundek I really wanted to whack their cars.
Unfortunately yesterday I had things to do in Kepong then heavy rain for more than an hour then of course from Kepong, Grab pulled me to KL. Then on my way home while riding in the emergency lane, a WHITE Vios followed behind me. Fucking sohai.
Done rant.
Ok to try something but revert to what was supposedly a worse situation before? Traffic situation getting worse but lots of their "experiments" making it worse. Seriously no thought before any action, just like a lot of these "town planning"
Anyway seeing all the videos and pics but I still cannot wrap my head around where and what is this "strong current" in the hole. Chamber? River? Pipe?
The ground collapsing in a perfect square is super sus.

How to fix? They build until like that, everywhere is cramped with buildings. In the first place there was no planning. Their only solution is to build more highway build more highway.

Ayam no civil engineer nor creative enough. But public transportation is 1 possible way.
We found a way to fly without growing and flapping wings. Some smart fella out there could come up with out of the box solutions.
Depends on the size of the catchment. The KL south one to Pantai Dalam which this lady fell into is the biggest in Malaysia and probably SEA. It is extremely strong current. Anyone that fell in really no hope liao RIP.

I can’t imagine there’s much worse way to die, the last thing you aware of is been drowned in a river of sewage water. And total darkness
Why send man down when they say poisonous gas in sewer? I'm sure IWK has sewer inspection robot?
Robot for sewer inspection is for dry isolated sewer. This is a live sewer with rushing water. The bomba guy is probably wearing scuba gear so not affected by the sewer gases. But I agree it is extremely dangerous and really not worth the risk.

Can't fix lah I think. When KL started and slowly became what it is today the foundation and years of development and pipes etc underground, how to fix everything?
It would be like rebuilding the city. Might as well move to a new place like Jakarta.
