All the majlis perbandaran tido one

They can patch up and retar the roads cantik2, then weeks later, some private contractor come dig lubang in the road, put paip, then do a shitty job patching up the road, jalan berlubang and berbonggol balik

SOmething is very rotten in DBKL planning. few months ago they changed the stretch of rd near HSBC jln sultan ismail heading towards lot 10 to a 2 way system. then changed back to one way after the resulting traffic jam increased.

But the worse is the bank negara roundabout. closed the middle lane since 2016 for renovation, delayed due to MCO, after MCO they put barricades make it look like permanently close the lane, and now finally after EIGHT years, reopened again!

Depends on the size of the catchment. The KL south one to Pantai Dalam which this lady fell into is the biggest in Malaysia and probably SEA. It is extremely strong current. Anyone that fell in really no hope liao RIP.

I can’t imagine there’s much worse way to die, the last thing you aware of is been drowned in a river of sewage water. And total darkness

Based on what i saw from news videos

I wonder why the hole has no cover or netting to prevent large object fall into it

A bit curious if you looked at the first image posted by TS at post#1, it seemed at the beginning the hole looked like has a solid bottom and it was only about 8m deep and you can clearly see the fire fighter standing at the bottom searching. But how come the body was not located there? Does not look like the bottom was covered by water also. So how did the woman vanish?

Yes. And why the people around couldnt see anything??
*
This is the condition of the hole. Much bigger than what you can see above ground.

it's probably broken by bricks/cement from the top; not human body.

but abam bomba always pictured standing on an area with hardly any water?? even if there was, they sent scuba drebars in until a place where they cannot squeeze thru, then where is the body?
*
They didn’t go far inside the pipe. They stop due to strong flow

It’s going to very disruptive if they do a serious one. Can you imagine closing off a major rd in kl city just to dig up and repair a deep sewer pipe. Will take at least a Week for each section.

Latest.

There seems to be a blockage roughly 80m from point of entry towards Wisma Yakin.
Blockage identified through Ground Penetrating Radar + K9.

Divers are waiting to enter the sewer pipe at ~2am when water levels are expected to subside to verify the blockage.

salute these divers. diving into a sewage pipe with zero visibility and toxic gases and sludge while looking for a decomposing body...
