Cos there is not suppose to be hole there. The soil beneath has been wash away by the water/sewage

Depends on the size of the catchment. The KL south one to Pantai Dalam which this lady fell into is the biggest in Malaysia and probably SEA. It is extremely strong current. Anyone that fell in really no hope liao RIP.

That's the last point her body will be found unless it's stuck somewhere along the way. But the endpoint will be Pantai Dalam.

Robot for sewer inspection is for dry isolated sewer. This is a live sewer with rushing water. The bomba guy is probably wearing scuba gear so not affected by the sewer gases. But I agree it is extremely dangerous and really not worth the risk.

Watching this I would question what the hell happened to the original manhole. Even in the video where she fell there is no manhole cover. Someone removed it in the past and didn't cover up the hole to the chamber properly. It's a time bomb when erosion will finally cause the pavement to collapse.

The sewer line she fell into will end up in Pantai Dalam pumping station where Bomba has been seen observing it..

I agree with this guy. The authorities will also agree honestly but they cannot show to give up so early on. When the K9 fail to pick up her scent on the scene the first night already indicates she fell into the sewer line already. In which case she is very very unlikely to still be alive.

There is no lift station between where she fell and pantai dalam. Its gravity all the way with extremely strong flow. Just that she might be caught along the way as the amount of rubbish in our sewers is no joke...

Flushing they said because the water in mh 5 and 6 was kinda slow so they suspect got some kinda blockage there. Hopefully they can clear it and find the body soon.

There is a manhole where this current collapse happened. I believe the sinkhole collapse damaged the manhole and caused it to collapse as well exposing the hole (originally the joint between the manhole and sewerline) to the sewerline. And the SAR believe she fell into the gaping hole where the manhole used to join to the sewerline since their K9 fail to detect her scent at the scene. Just my theory take it with a grain of salt.

Can't comment based on just a few photos. For all we know they did proper repair of the previous collapse but it happened again on a larger scale etc. Only those involved in the previous project know what work was carried out and how well it was completed.

Honestly if she really drop in there probably drown in minutes no need 4 hours or toxic gas. Even the divers with proper suit and gear have difficulty to dive in far.
