Im ordering for D40 Battery grip (3rd party brand) now,next week will receive it,hehe..

how much is that lens of yours?

new one is bout RM1200, but mine is 2nd hand. Got for RM500 only,hehe..

make it looks more like pro 1..

rm300? for a manfrotto? without head ma...keep wan not bad what...the quality is quite good...

Have checked the price for the D40 price. Here are the lists.

All are standard package with D40 kitlens, DSLR bag & 2GB HS SD Card.

1. YL Camera - RM1800 (On Stock, me went to pudu plaza all the way from Klang yesterday, but they quite busy & not entertain me much coz got lot customers there. Also, have revisit the store many times but still lot customers hang on so cannot really talk or bargain. Almost purchase it coz I brought cash already but still feel not comfortable with the guy who simply entertain me. May be me not like a guy who willing to buy. )

2. J One - RM1888 (On stock, Went to store yesterday but not open so I made a call to Jason this morning. Sound friendly but price is fixed. No bargain.)

3. Tarita - RM1700 (No stock, but will be on stock next week. Early of January but dunno true or not? The guy said promotion is still on even Jan 08.)

Hmm... Dunno whether I should buy or wait till next month.

of cos,ill make sure my D40 looks like pro.Dats why I just ordered D40 battery grip, to make it looks more bulky. Im a part time wedding photog though, n I want ppl have some confidence with my gadjet, though I know my ability to produce good output for printing with my D40. Maybe some ppl will say, "Dude,u just buy another model laa;D80 or D300." And I'll say to them, "Would u give me RM6000."

I'll test the battery grip first after arrival,so that I can recomended to all of u..

its not the camera that creates great images...its the photographer itself...

bought mine (d40) in november for rm1750 (body + kit lens + nikon 2gb sd + nikon tripod + nikon bag)

prices has indeed gone up.

my sister bought a unit yesterday for rm1799 (same package but with uv filter + soft carrying case)

nikon d40 is very very limited stock even currently no stock from nikon malaysia.thats y the price is expensive now

D40 is nice to use ma...nt so complicated....
