which one ?

choose :
i) nikkor 55-200 VR
ii) SB-800
iii) SB-600

main interest,

landscape, scenery, natural wild lives, skies etc..

since u say u like lanscape...that needs a wideangle...
wild life...depends...u need either VERY long...or Macro...
skies?? Wideangle i guess...
seeing from this...the 55-200 wont benefit u much...
why not take a wide angle?
sigma 10-20?
tokina 12-24?
nikkor 14-24?

if u can explain more on wild life...
if u taking wild birds....u need 600mm
or on a safari....600mm...shorter ones are ok too...but u dun want to disturb the animals right?
insects / flowers / plants...u need macro...105vr...

and btw, how to enable shooting by looking at the screen? mean shooting like compact camera like that. I flipped through the d40x manual but seem can't find it, but i remember i read it somewhere before.

Nope. D40 does not have la./

And the lens is around RM2500

dun hv ar cry.gif because i was experimenting with different shooting angle which i cant pose and target with viewfinder, then i have to guess then, but 70% the target is not in focus, hahha. laugh.gif
