If you already have 18-55mm kit lens, why still consider 18-70mm which overlap the range? Get the 55-200mmVR instead if you want more tele. Just my 2cents! ya, reading your suggestion so now i got kit lens + this 55-200 VR, if i wan to take potrait , which 1 gip me the best result, pls advice. sifu |

QUOTE(xandman @ Jan 8 2008, 06:23 AM) since u say u like lanscape...that needs a wideangle... ya, quite agree with xandman, i myself got 55-200mm vr. taking bird is not enough wild life...depends...u need either VERY long...or Macro... skies?? Wideangle i guess... seeing from this...the 55-200 wont benefit u much... why not take a wide angle? sigma 10-20? tokina 12-24? nikkor 14-24? if u can explain more on wild life... if u taking wild birds....u need 600mm or on a safari....600mm...shorter ones are ok too...but u dun want to disturb the animals right? insects / flowers / plants...u need macro...105vr... |
