May I know if you sell only on the few main platforms or you have your own website for customers to check out make payment?
I am in the midst of setting up a Shopify store mainly for:
1. Lower fees
2. An alternative don't want to depend on them in case any new rules / kena ban suddenly
3. I sell made-to-order custom products headache with the short preparing time / free return
BUT concern came to mind
1. How to beat the cheaper shipping rates & price my item versus on the e-commerce platforms? Some order single unit while some order in bulk
- The shipping fees variation hard to set at Shopify so most sellers do the easy way just price their item high that it covers the shipping fees and just take a flat rate at checkout or offer free shipping...Shopee maybe still can curi tipu2 sikit
If I do it this way, my Shopify products will priced higher than those e-commerce platforms, will it be kind of counter-productive?
