With Pixel, you can keep it for 5 years since it has better and longer software updates. With Vivo, you may only get 1 major software update and a poor security update. I owned Vivo X50 and X60 phones before, and I know the experience of terrible software updates.

PSA: to prospective Pixel 9 series buyers, this year the Tensor processor is still under Samsung manufacturing process.

Tensor processors from Pixel 10 onwards will be switching to TSMC manufacturing process (which could see significant battery improvements)

I am not rich. The pure Android experience is just nice, can't get elsewhere already. OnePlus used to be good one, until they changed from OxygenOS to ColorOS. Now we have Nothing, which is great and have affordable models, but who knows.. might become ColorOS in the future. Hopefully they stay to clean or almost pure Android experience, and at the same time providing essential features like native app lock, dual app.. which Pixel lacks.

It's the chip, 5k for exynos.. must think twice, still can also maybe since this 4th gen, but better check reviews first. They very smart, didn't mention samsung in the even earlier.

P10 will be TSMC, but still made by Google, and how do Google perform on their first attempt on things?

It is not the same for everyone.

If you like features and more value, it is xiaomi.

If you like features and willing to put more money, samsung.

If you just want pure Android, then it is Pixel. AI wise every other brand gonna catch up anyway.

Vivo is the kind of thing to buy if you don't care about specs or just need a device for old parents.

Google is the market leader, catching up to it takes time besides Google invested in the infrastructure to enable that kind of cloud processing. I am more curious on how Apple will catch up with it.

However Google release Gemini to other Android phones too, they just keep some exclusive feature of the Gemini for the Pixel 9

Do you mean rhe magsafe powerbank alternative, or looking for case with magneting ring like that? I think for magsafe powerbank there are few available powerbank such as benks, baseus, remax, ugreen, anker etc.

I would like to see how the review first for this pixel 9 series before pulling the trigger. Right now for android im stick to s24 as it got all the ai features from google and also the same 7 years of update.

Really like the 9 pro but the screen size already increase a bit from last year, so the phone have became a bit taller and wider..really interested if it was 6.1-6.2” only

dont sell your Pixel 5, it is the last phone with free google photos storage. Use that to backup all your photos from Pixel 9 , it will be treated as free storage as long as you set it as storage saver.

I have Pixel XL and Pixel , that is the best, coz that is unlimited Quality & Unlimited Storage. Pixel 2 to 5 are just unlimited storage and it will compress if your pictures exceeded 16 megapixels, and Video to HD if it exceed that quality. Pixel 1 does not have such restrictions
