Previous phone Oppo, no issues. Contacted CIMB and Wise, both are clueless as well. you'd think buying Google own phone would be less hassle. In this regards, I'd still say Apple Pay is the smoothest, when transitioning from old to new phone. not sure about cimb. maybe something to do with token? had same issue when using iphone last time trying to add mbb debit card. so far, added mbb, sc and wise and all added into Google wallet without issue. best part I like the most, paying via contactless just need to unlock phone and tap unlike iphone need to double press to open up the card and authentic

They are selling these phones officially here in Malaysia now, all local telco requirements should be fulfilled out of the box. tend to agree. Google need to provision this.
