Keep fighting. I was like that too. Not to say I’m all good now but definitely better than before. Most important is to look forward. It’s good to learn from the past mistake but don’t dwell too much about it negatively.

Maybe for sharing and learning here.

My mistake was not learning to save up earlier in my career.  back then was a jolly CC user , have expensive hobbies and always travel for fun to and from (i'm guessing u call YOLO these days). Dunno all my money went even though worked a long time.

I wish I realized and be more financially aware sooner than later.

Second mistake is buying a car and house that is not affordable  .

I wish back then I used a cheaper car, as depreciation kills the value and fast forward 10 years all sort of problems came out .

Although the house I bought is in a decent location, I felt that it was overpriced. Back then it was all the rage for "Property investment". If I had the chance, I would undo this mistake by not buying a house at all, and instead just park the savings in gold and use it to buy house for own self stay .

What did you do that you regretted? Past cannot change anymore, perhaps we could state this as a reminder for ourselves.

When you lend money to a friend, always be prepared to lose 2 things :-

Your money and your friend.

Don't really regret most of my financial decision, but if there is something that has to be nitpicked, its the purchasing of insurance "savings plan".

Money locked inside with mediocre returns.

It is Kia. 😅😅

Still cant move on from tis stupid thing. Back then, I earn 4k-6k per month. Which is I think quite good as fresh graduated kid.

But ‘poverty mindset’ of me kick in, which explain why I decides to buy old car instead get new car. And I lost lots opportutnities. No proper dating, no gathering bujang with friends, malu join family gathering because I stay flat and ride a bike.

I used to date a doctor from HKL but I decides to end it. Because have imposter syndrom, who whoudl date a guy who ride a bike? 😅 this is my another regret because she is a fine lady, smart and we actually complamebt each other.

Simple say, I wasting my precious youth because this stupid car. 😂

Poverty mindset is very dangerous man..

No financial mistake yet. I always live and spend like b40.

My current financial hurdle is my parent’s debt which takes a huge chunk of my salary.
