You Want cheap expensive standard your money. Things here the staffs work. You don't feel the contractors cheating tiu on material price cuz you checked n yiu know the price

With that budget, you could have gone through an ID company who would've handled the renovation altogether.

Scamming happen everywhere, that’s why need to be extra careful especially huge money is involved. Never paid more than needed to avoid losing more. I’ve done 2 renovations, each time I will monitor closely the work before I release the next payment.

u will be surprise that common sense is not so common...lots of case reno works overpay...owner paid 90% but work done is only 30%

Proper process would be go through architect. Architect is governed by the board of architect is a registered professional by law. You don't go trust a sdn bhd ID that is actually a contractor also lol. Architect will lead the team of c&s consultant, m&e consultant, contractors and ID and architect will be the person responsible for verifying works and signing payment release forms and dealing with majlis.

TYpe M and Type C , sama sama banyak scammer reno contractor.

Cause upfront payment term for reno contractor are 30% and some even request higher, once dapat payment reno contractor pergi tutup kuali dapur projek lain, and keep on repeat sampai KABOOM(Lari)
