.... What is the network coverage of 5G SA?
The network coverage of 5G SA is similar to that of 5G NSA.

5G SA-Compatible Device ...

= depending on your 5G device and phone plan, you can access Thailand AIS's 5G SA and/or 5G NSA network, similar to DNB1. But for DNB2 or U Mobile, you need to have a 5G SA-compatible device and high-end phone plan.

, ie the soyacincau news link, eg many of DNB2's/U Mobile's 5G (SA) cell towers in KL are ready but not yet operationally deployed or online, likely because U Mobile subscribers could still connect to DNB1's 5G (NSA) network, which U Mobile had already paid DNB1 for yearly access (at RM233 million per year.?).

PETALING JAYA: Digital Nasional Bhd’s (DNB) fifth generation of mobile networks (5G) minimum commitment fees may need to rise to a still-manageable RM270mil to RM290mil per access seeker to cover cash cost in the financial year 2026 (FY26).

This comes amid ongoing efforts to steer DNB towards financial sustainability following a challenging FY24, which saw the company report a substantial net loss of RM1.21bil (partly due to low revenue recognition) and net cash outflow of RM799mil (despite modest capital expenditure). ...

Had to take the train from to Midvalley to KL Sentral just now. DNB 5G is practically unusable the whole way.
