the battery can lasts for a max of 2 days.... with average use of msging, call, camera, vid, music...

Just want to check, I received an sms which is 2 pages long and it came with *some text missing*. I thought this was an long time ago issue. Or is there a way to fix this in the settings?

yaiks...the beeping part true...cant even last me 10 mins after the beep when i'm talking on the phone.

guess i'll have to accept that tis phone batt really last so short huh...

ya... just gotta accept the fact.. other than that.. no prob at all... everything at its best!
about the resetting to default ringtone.. for me.. it did reset to default.. when & only when u change the themes or profile(u can set a specific ring for each profile, so no worries on this part).. so whenever u change to diff themes remember to change ur ring tone too. This resetting to default ring is only applicable to the Ringtone but NOT the msg tone.

traffic, how do you read the old messages from your simcard? mine cant detect at all..but when i put the simcard in other nokia handphone, can detect la...

can anyone help me to choose the Nokia 6500 slide and SE K810i which 1 is better?depends on speed memory camera graphic or whatever...which 1 is more goodn nice...coz i dunno how to look...its 2 function look like similar~

6500S got a classy look thats why I chose it. I got the black 1. Loving every second of it. The cons of this phone is that it has a little problem with the memory card but so far I have not experience it since I use default ring tone. And also battery life. Not as long as u wish it could last. Its alot heavier than SEK810i.

And camera wise, which phone has better camera then the K series of Sony Ericsson? HM can't think of any. Anyway, it's a phone and camera is secondary. If you really want a good camera, then you'll have to get a real camera, which in this case, you can't make calls. In conclusion for the camera of 6500s it is acceptable.

As for the user-friendly wise, its superb, programs doesn't lag since it is not a Symbian phone. and I just love the look of this phone. It kills.

Never used nokia since the old 8850.

And I bought this 6500 slide Black Color for the 1st time. I have to say, not bad at all. Small size yet nice looking.

Btw, you guys bought the silver ones or black ones? I find the black one nicer. Looks like a mini N95 to me, haha.

Went to the shop to look for a nokia ( strictly nokia phones oni ) and a n-series phone.
But instead wuz captivated by this nokia 6500 classic phone.
Full of style and agree with you guys that it looks like a mini n95.

You guys can post some pics taken by 6500 slide? Can resize to 640x480 if possible. I wanna see if there are difference. I think the photo quality is quite good. I have yet to take photos from my phone but I will try it out soon.

i m using this 6500 slide for the past few days, and for mine the battery life is very good, compared to my previous phone, W550i. Till now, 48 hours after my last charge, the phone still display full batt (my usage is a few phone calls, lots of sms and playing with the phone here and there). btw mine is ORG set, black edition with 2GB card.

Overall i am satisfied with the phone, though it requires about 30s waiting time from start up before i can actually use the phone freely, otherwise it will be very laggy. Appearance of phone is brilliant. Function wise, nth special except the dictionary.
