just purchased 6500 Black edition. very cool and like it alot.

has few questions for the experts here :-

1)how do i view the sms stored inside my sim card? i'm unable to find such option.

2)how do I chk my OS version?

3)any external casing available? wanna buy one fast to avoid scratches on my phone la. sakit hati later.

what is the average lifespan of a brand new battery? i on my hp 24x7 and it usually last 3 - 3 1/2 days only. the usage is just normal phone dialing with no photo takings nor music listening and around 2 hours talking time. i think it's rather short duration for a new battery, but would like to confirm this with others before i ask my supplier to change a new one for me.

if i listen to music for 1/2 hour and average 2 hours talking time, then the batt will last less than 2 days before i need to recharge it.

from the website, it should last at least 5 days...any of u guys experience it?

Talk Time = 6 hours.

so not trusting the website above, and if i go for talk time for less than 2 hours, my phone shuld at least last 5 days right?

my previous W800i can last for at least 5-7 days with min 2 hours talk time la.

but i nv activate 3g also...so will it drain the batt tat much?

actually my sister is holding nokia 5610, which is very similar to 6500 but her phone can last at least 5 days.

haha tat's why i purposely test the phone without playing the music lo..
i know 5610 has double the time compare to 6500.

but before i do that, better ask those who has 6500, see what's their average batt life before they need to recharge again.

yaiks...the beeping part true...cant even last me 10 mins after the beep when i'm talking on the phone.

guess i'll have to accept that tis phone batt really last so short huh...

traffic, how do you read the old messages from your simcard? mine cant detect at all..but when i put the simcard in other nokia handphone, can detect la...

wow...u r one lucky one...mine by 3rd day, must charge the phone alridi with average talking time and min music listening.... n my batt is brand new some more.

well, jst a thought. if ori batt diff alot compare to the AP one, u might as well get an AP one if it's much cheaper since both also last around 3 days only. why waste money.
