I used to buy phones from sg.wang but i felt very worried each time i buy from them. So, for this 6500s, i bought at Nokia Center. It would be the best choice. Although the price is a lil higher but it worths. It is guaranteed original and will buy you a piece of mind.

For your info, both silver and black are at the same price. i bought the black edition at RM1,690 with 1GB memory.

what is the average lifespan of a brand new battery? i on my hp 24x7 and it usually last 3 - 3 1/2 days only. the usage is just normal phone dialing with no photo takings nor music listening and around 2 hours talking time. i think it's rather short duration for a new battery, but would like to confirm this with others before i ask my supplier to change a new one for me.

if i listen to music for 1/2 hour and average 2 hours talking time, then the batt will last less than 2 days before i need to recharge it.

from the website, it should last at least 5 days...any of u guys experience it?

i think new phone nowadays quite impossible to last up to 5 days unless u didnt use it at all (or really minimum usage)..(the standby time for 6500s equal to 13.25days - theoretical only)..3 1/2 days is already quite long what...

Added on March 3, 2008, 2:53 pmur previous w800 is non 3g, this 6500slide 3g phone...although it stated 6hours talk time, but never mention either in gsm or 3g connection..3g connection will drain the battery power faster compare to 2g connection

actually my sister is holding nokia 5610, which is very similar to 6500 but her phone can last at least 5 days.

ic2..if like that perhaps better u bring the phone and ask the seller back..5610 n 6500s identical in terms of hardware but 5610 has longer music playing time

haha tat's why i purposely test the phone without playing the music lo..
i know 5610 has double the time compare to 6500.

but before i do that, better ask those who has 6500, see what's their average batt life before they need to recharge again.
