For this season, I'll take whatever win however ugly or boring it is.
Salah is his usual self this season, looking very ordinary but don't be surprised if he pulls out an assist or goal out of nowhere.
So far impressed with Jota but too bad he's probably going to be subbed off with a yellow card to his name.

Putting Diaz on the right wing is like playing with 1 less player. Why not bring Endo on for Salah and move Szobo to the right.
Jota and Gakpo both faded the more the match went on. Jaros looked quite assured especially for the 3 on 1 attack by Palace.
Anyway, not an easy place to come, move on with the 3 points and clean sheet. Hope Ali can recover in time for the matches after the intl break.

Well. I questioned before the start of the season why we needed to splash what limited funds we had on a new GK who is only going to come next season.
I think Kelleher and Jaros had played really well when called upon, sure not at Ali's level but if they continue to perform then surely they deserve the chance to prove themselves *IF* Ali decides to go or the club decides to cash in.
Now our leftback is the weakest link with Robbo showing signs of slowing down and Tsimikas.. just say that I am not convinced he is our starting leftback.

Like a fellow fan pointed out, with more game time, can Kelleher be as good as Ali eventually? Jaros in my opinion can definitely step up to number two. And who can guarantee Giorgi can hit the ground running and adapt which Kelleher and Jaros already have no problem?

Anyway my point was about prioritisation. If we can afford to spend 95mil on a spinning winger then I have no problem with signing a high potential GK for next season. But if you compare: Kelleher or Ali at GK, and Tsimikas/Robbo at LB, which one is more desperate for fix?

Brighton playing the perfect game. I want to question where was our DM when the ball broke for the goal. Tsimikas was defending 2 players and can't deny that was really a super strike to the far corner.
Out of our midfield trio only Macca is doing anything of note. Grav and Dom not offering anything defensively and going forward. Slot needs to fix this.

Bring Endo on for Dom and move Macca further upfield to impact things. Even if Endo does nothing, as Japan captain hopefully he can command Mitoma to stop burning Trent's ass 😂

Just give Salah what he wants.

What a turnaround. It's obvious how Slot deployed Jones, basically into Dom's position and doing all the right things. I think for a moment it was 442 before Darwin went off.
Another surprise was how good Gomez was in the 2nd half. Hope Ibou coming off is just precaution.

And whoever still doubt the ability of Kelleher, take a look at this game. Crucial save 1v1 else we would've been 2 down. And his positioning and distribution was top class in this match.

When I saw the replay I was also like did Nunez miss deliberately or what?
Reminded me of the most deliberate miss I saw before... Balotelli squatting in mid air

What does Kellher need to do to show that he can be our number 1. Day by day the Georgian keeper deal makes lesser sense.
