Yes can-lah.. I'm also using one mah bcos my wife is a housewife & no income. But you need a seperate letter written by either you or your company that you or your company will guranttee all her expenses and also any incidental cost herewith will be by you or your company. Well, I wrote that letter myself...a simple one para letter haha..like dis:

" I guranttee all expenses and incidental cost incurred by so & so bearing passport no XXXXXX will be borne by me . Thank You"

High chances of rejection for sure. sumore without any support income.

You need somewan to pump in cash temporary..let say additional RM4K to ensure high chances. Also a guranttee letter from your parent or even parent's company that all cost of your travel wil be borned by your parent or the company/ college you study.

Otherwise..just pray hard lor

Yes for sure to get high chances. Your uni needs to confirm you and the best ask them to include that they will supoort your cost haha..well if they willing. Otherwise, you need your parent guranttee letter that all yur incidental cost will be guranteed by them

Horrible Money Changers in whole Klang Valley- Right now lotsa them no more Yen stock! Reason given high demand. The only thing I can think-They are taking advantage of low Yen and keep it for future gain!!

I found shorter and easier way mah..just direct using Tobu line from Asakusa stn wor..

You see..from this guide only 1 blue line direct from Asakusa.. I'm thinking of grabbing the Tobu day pass too at 3500yen..unlimited usage + entrance & bus fare in Nikko wor.. http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e3805.html

If using your suggestion need to switch another train wor??

You don't want follow my advise.    sad.gif  sad.gif    tongue.gif  tongue.gif

Just curios, Why you start your journey to Nikko from Asakusabashi ?

My advise are Start from Ueno Station by taking Utsunomiya Line to Utsunomiya Station.  This Train was sharing same track with Shinkanshen to Yamagata, Fukushima...etc etc.  brows.gif  brows.gif .

Haha..Abit only..Here & there.. still looking for cheapest way to goto Hakone..not from Shinjuku but from the stn near my hotel i.e Ningyucho. Current route that I can think off is Ningyucho>>Shimbashiand switch to JR line to Odawara >>Hakonezan line...but abit pricey lor..1way already 2800yen!

Otherwise..probably just grab the Hakone free pass via Odawara stn? (Odakyu line??)..Only 3900yen return + unlimited ride wor..
http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2358_008.html

ANyway.. Almost certain Nikko & Hakone will be my confirmed itineraries dy..That's 2 full days.. The otehr 3 more days..most probably 1 day visisting Ropponggi >>Shibuya>>Shinjuku +Meiji park/temple

1 day - Northern region - Akibahara-Akasuka & Ueno

& last day..Southern region...Kawasaki - Fames "Manhood fertility temple" hehe..& probably that Tsukiji fish market if can enter?? I heard limited to 120ppl only darn...

Hmmnn Bro Naim you also recommend that route kah..haha..Still considering..The reason why I'm considering this Tobu line from Asakusa is bcos direct train + having free day pass for 3600yen/pax return Worth it? Or the route you suggest much cheaper?

OK- Good idea also..Just found the trf stn near my hotel to Shinjuku.. No need to go South and North again to Shinjuku..can cross over direct from Higashi Nihonbashi stn which is also ~ 200M North of My hotell rclxms.gif ..But the free pass from Shijuku abit expensive wor..5000yen sad.gif hmm.gif
QUOTE(RegentCid @ Mar 5 2012, 06:32 PM)
Going Hakone still best way are using my method. Start from Shinjuku Station.

Want you to feel the world most buiest train station in world. One day handle more than 3m passenger.

Most important was, there got a information counter to get all info on Hakone. Incliding buying the Hakone one day pass. ( sit tram and cable car all included)

Yes. For sure cheaper than buying individual ticket lor but still expensive for Family travelled together and only having 5 nites there. I also originally planned to Osaka/Kyoto from Tokyo but after thinking twice that it will cost me another RM3300 for the pass for 3 ..I decided to do Osaka in future once I can get another cheap AAX ticket for ~ RM500/pax haha blush.gif ..For me, sinkansen is not really something amazing having similar experience traveling at 295km/hr in China for a fraction haha
