If below 5C btter wear but if you can stand, no need lor..Even my wife ~ 8C in Beijing Nov also kenot stand liao. BTW, not snowing does not mean it will not be cold.. Dry & cold wth strong wind, even a reported 8C can dropped to ~ zero if strong wind that time. There was one Morning in Seoul, during Dec 2010, temperature dropped to ~minus 12C & wth wind ~ minus 15C..but no snow at all..so dry & cold

For scarf, an alternative for guys & gals who want something easier and not really fashionable ..Use a BUFF!
Since I hv a buff for my Mountain biking activities, I used the same buff during my winter Holiday too..Not expensive..nowadays got lotsa cheapo brand dy and price from RM15 till RM50..You can find it in those small stalls ~ Mid Valley, The Curve & even I found one inside GM wholesale market in Klang for RM15..I grabbed that one recently haha. http://www.buff.eu/urban/index.php?option=...e&id=2&Itemid=2 Scarf/buff is equally important bcos one of teh worse exposed skin is your ear, lips & neck..Your ear will instantly freeze badly once the cold wind as what regentcid mentioned blow even the weather say ~ 6C..Once strong wind, temperature might dropped to zero. and very painful ear & crack lip for sure..sometime, nose also bleeding..well my daighter nose blee once in Seoul haha This post has been edited by stimix: Feb 14 2012, 02:27 PM |

I did mentioned Buff is more rugged type & less fashioneable. When I used it in Seoul, the only ppl using Buff tehre were those construction workers, salesmen ajushi & etc.. + me.. haha

Unless you willing to pay ~RM1000 for a Sinkansen 1 week pass or RM1600 return sinkansen to Japan Ok-lah..It's not cheap unless slower option via Bus.. I also original plan Tokyo -Osaka but the >RM1K JR pass killed off my plan

Haha You are looking at Money changer rate..3.81 abit pricey liao bcos during weekend when BNM rate ~ 3.756, I saw 3.80 dy. At 3.73, I think the best should be ~ 3.77?
Here the movement every few hours. But you can't get this rate via Money changer http://www.bnm.gov.my/statistics/exchangerates.php Added on February 29, 2012, 5:34 pmOK at 5:33pm, the rate now eased abit to 3.7185 This post has been edited by stimix: Feb 29 2012, 05:34 PM |

Last weekend, My place here in Puchong already 3.80 liao lor haha..The BNM is a very good benchmark to gauge how far lower money changers can sell..Weekend rate BNM was 3.74. So at 3.71, probably the lowest possible rate in Money changer ~ 3.77?.
That Puchong Money changer is not the best sumore |
