Kyoto and Osaka just 43 Km away.  Taking Subway just 25 minute.  Why want to find another hotel at Osaka?
Your Kyoto Hotel just beside Kyoto Station.  Early morning take train from Kyoto station to Osaka Station.  then back from Osaka to Kyoto at night lor.
*
kyoto hotel more expensive than osaka abit
hmm.. u got ur point oso.. let me plan plan.. but will still prefer spend a night at osaka for more relax trip

btw wan ask ur opinion, if u got to choose, u choose to stay shinjuku or ikebukuro?

Shinjuku.

Shinjuku is the Hearts of Tokyo trains.....every company train stop at Shinjuku. except shinkanshen and night train only.

The world most busiest train station...world most exit train station. this is the placed you will find out Japanese ppl phase.

If you want cheap, Asakusa is the perfect placed

thanks for the tips

at first i was planning to get Hotel Nihonbashi Villa , but my fren told me that the area is kinda quiet after 9-10 pm as the place is a commercial shop lot area, and lesser choice for food / 24 hour mart so he intro me shinjuku

currently booked a hotel near kabukicho shinjuku cos fren intro said very happening place.. but the price is kinda high for me so i try to see got any other happening place wif cheaper hotel price tongue.gif

You just need a plug converter.

Because Malaysia adapter are 240V to the voltage of your device.

and Japan voltage just 110V....much more lower than Malaysia.

But in Japan you buy electronic stuff then bring back to Malaysia ...that got big problem.
Such as laptop or camera.

The adapter they give you are 110V convert to your electronic requitments. If this 110V adapter plug into Malaysia 240V...your Adapter will blow into Fire

i went there alone. u need subway map (u can buy it for more detail and big map or get from tourist info at umeda station).

u need to do more homework. if this is the 1st time u travel alone, u need to go to tourist info and get all the information.

or u can get info before u travel there by using internet.

and u must have a thick face to ask people around.

If you look at the airline thematic visa database, Japanese visa is "strongly recommended' but not needed for malaysians. I actually entered Japan "without' a visa last Aug. I was taken into a room and asked to fill out a stack of forms titled "special enquiry". They gave me a 14 days permit after that.
