Since it is using microinverter, ask them to show real app example... some of the apps only show system output, not each panel output.

PG got Maybank card promotion last week, I think the price is lower than 26k. Do ask them.

Micro inverter is not superior to string, each has pros and cons.

Unless you have shading issues, going with string inverter will be cheaper for same kWp. I would suggest you to get some quotes and compare.

I asked about adding battery and getting a smaller capacity solar but was told if add battery will not be eligible for NEM.

NEM can add battery & in fact Hoymiles launching their AC couple battery for micro soon. Most vendors don't want to do battery because of the cost to keep batteries and also the additional risk.

No. Don’t do that. Not worth it. Not within this 10 years.

The battery for 5kwh currently priced at 15k.

So to store a 5kwh, u need to spend 15k. When you can “store” for free ALL your generation to TNB GRID.

So if you reduce your panel by 2 PCs, the cost could be about 3k, but to store the same amount of energy, you need to fork out 15k.
