16 May - got the NEM cert and submit to TNB on the same day.
20 May - receive NEM welcome letter from TNB
28 May - message tnb on FB to check on Solaris status and then get email after that.

Panel is okay. But I would avoid those inverters like the plague.

Good brands for inverter from China includes Goodwe, Solis, Sungrow and Huawei.

Search, Australia forums and groups are a good resource.

Learn from other people’s mistake. Don’t need to have bad experience in everything lol. We have abundance of option in Malaysia and Solis & Goodwe + Huawei are solid choices.

In any case, that’s just my personal opinion that I would avoid it like the plague. I would avoid Peugeot cars too. But anyone can go ahead and buy with their money.

found one with Solis Inverter and Canadian Panel, but Huawei Inverter need topup RM2K

after discuss with the agent i upgrade to 14 panel for 8,26kWp and with Solis 3phase inverter with 5yrs 0% installment. Whole system RM27K.

Finally found a company that provides Solar Panel as replacement for Awning.

And many said can't support as awning due to the weight of the panel

hi, want to ask. i got a proposal recently for 16kW system. However, the inverter is rated 15kW only. And under NEM 3.0 guidelines, capacity limit for 3 phase residential is max 12.5kW. Will this be illegal?

Got another quote. 740w panels. 19.4kWp, but inverter 12.5kWp.

Had an installer come to my house and give me a quote, due to my roof being made up of multiple pyramid shapes, they suggest to do a separate structure on the roof to hold all the solar panels. Unfortunately, the cost have gone up by RM7k. Anyone knows which company has smaller panels so I can install without the structure?

I think mine is probably worse. On the triangle shaped side, max can only put 2 panels and this is only possible for 2 sides. All other sides can only fit in 1 panel each. The panels are around 2m x 1m.
