1. Tron: Legacy.
- It was a complete disappointment for me.
- It has so much of hype and attraction going for it but personally, it didn’t deliver.

2. The Social Network.
- Two Thumbs Up!
- Interestingly, there was no hype or any sort of promotions done for this movie and yet, this movie was intelligently interesting.

Leap Year (2010)

What an awful AWFUL RomCom!!

How did Amy Adams (of Enchanted fame) and Matthew Goode (Gay Superhero in Watchmen and the good guy in Woody Alan's Match Point) ended up this HUGE pile of elephant doo doo, I'll never know?!?

They have ABSOLUTELY no chemistry together in this terrible TERRIBLE movie!

It is actually physically and mentally PAINFUL to watch the two prancing around in this movie....

I have to give them this though... the Irish countryside is ABSOLUTELY beautiful.

As a romcom, I'm giving this a -9 out of 10

I really loved this show. I liked that cheeky twist at the end hahha. The constant bullying of The Silencer, the genius thoughts of Rancha. Heh, each main character were really good for its story.

a nicely done horror comedy movie.yes,it is slapstick comedy but it was done in appropriate way.just that sometimes the dialogue was kinda disappointing and repetitive.

Watched several movies lately worth to mention

1. Winter Bone (6/10)
- gloomy movie with slow movie pace

2. God Must Be Crazy I (9/10)
- rewatched my favourite comedy movie and yet it's still entertaining. far more entertaining than any Jim Carrey movie

3. Shaun Of The Dead (6/10)
- not really my cup of tea. the english accent surely not helping.

4. Exit Through The Gift Shop (7/10)
- kind of entertaining but sceptical bout it's story

The Man From Nowhere (or better known as 아저씨 (A-jeo-ssi)) - Korean movie

I was looking forward watching this film that stars pretty boy Won Bin, which had a thorough makeover. While the action is something I felt can up the ante a little more, the story itself I feel needs a little more emotion between Won Bin's character and the girl, whom is his neighbour.

For me, Won Bin did a good job as Tae-Sin; a lost soul where after the death of his wife turns dark and gloomy and never smile throughout the movie. As a man of action, he's very good and I feel he can be an action star. Director and script writer Lee Jeong-Beom did a good job but the finale could have been much better made than what it was presented.

Overall:- Not a bad movie and worth watching. thumbup.gif

Piranha (2010)

Let get this right off the bat.

Can you say gratuitous nudity?

For this movie, yes you can!

How the HECK did this movie ever got shown in Malaysian Cinema boggles the mind

After the trip to the cencorship board... what is left to show?????

Again, I reiterate, the amount of nudity in this movie, is really unseen in in major production movie.

I'm surprise Jerry OConnell please SLEAZE well (also in TV Series like The Defenders)

The way he meets his end... well guys, believe me, you'll want to close your eyes when that happen.

I watched this in 2D so cannot comment of whether it works in 3d....

So do I recommend this. If you are not a kid, and you love thrillers with nudity, give it a try

Devil

Mr Night finally going back to his root, although just as a writer, not director.

Good but not great story, interesting to see how 5 interesting characters with different personalities stuck in a lift, and how they interact with each other.
Good thing they didn't drag on the story, which is with a few usual twists of Mr Night here & there
An entertaining watch.

The 4th Period Mystery (Korean)

This is a Korean murder mystery when a student stumble upon a murder of his fellow student and pointed out he is the suspect.

Within 40 minutes they have to discover who is the real murderer and solve it before the school period ends.

It started out quite okay... but soon, when the murderer is reveal, it felt normal and typical and nothing exceptional.

The ending ends with a little teen romance even even though its a murder mystery film. Nothing gruesome or brutal.

Overall:- An okay Korean murder mystery drama.

The Elite Squad [2007] aka Tropa de Elite - Brazilian

sharing a theme with City of God [2002], drug, guns and slums. not as excellent as that movie, but far better than any recent Hollywood police-theme movies.

3 dedicated policemen fighting against slums-based drug dealer and corrupted police system.

recently (Oct 2010), the sequel has been released.

Another comedy film by Jack Black.. ok.. made me laugh from start to the end even with some old tricks..
However, definitely not in 3D!! Even the trailer movie of Yogi Bear have more 3D effect than the whole movie.. failure.. sweat.gif

The Last Exorcism (2010)

I'm am currently watching the above movie

It is like watching any of Michael Moore Docu-movie + horror movie.

Some parts scared the $hit out of me...

It is amazingly cleverly scripted and executed!!

If you like horror, I strong recommend this!
