Need to take the vouchers given into consideration too... the -450 and -120 vouchers would make the 215/50 R17 RM360+ per piece for MC7 which is alot cheaper than the rm500 PS5!

ya but is it 38x-39x 215 45 17 PS5 cheap?

as it is, MC7 is kinda DOA, still. until their marketing and sales gear up to compete
not to mention releasing more sizes. (yes i understand 215 50 17 or 225 45 17 is going to be more expensive than less wider or meaty 215 45 17 PS5)

Didn't know the PS5 can go below RM400! As I recall the PS4 were at RM500 while Primacy was around RM450 during my tire change last year AUG.

Will keep a look out for PS5 if they are RM400! Thanks!

yeap i also was equally surprised/shocked. normally PS5 above 500 for 215 45 17

dunno if its in conjunction of Raya, and/or just to counter MC7
its quite obvious... and in this thread already got 1 owner - myself, swayed from MC7 to PS5, and that's sticking for 1-2 years. brilliant Michelin lol.

If can downsize 205/50/R17, Goodyear EfficientGrip old 2021 stock can get around RM120/pc. Bought that to replace my worn out 215/45/R17 tyre.

Currently using mc6 on my passat b8 2.0, thinking of changing mc7 for next round. I think the mc6 is fine is wet is a bit slippery and wanted more quietness to match my car character

Thought of ps5 but would not sacrifice quietness for some extra performance and price

Have used ps4, pss, ps3 on my golf gti 5

I assume not their forte for the Continental ASEAN made models for wet traction. If wet your criteria, Michelin PS series it is.

Anyone has done compared among PS5 and MC7?

I used MC6 before and changed to PS5.
The big difference is during raining day PS5 is much better and more confident.

nah... not at all about racing... in an emergency, you slam on your brake and try to steer away from danger... straight line braking, lateral grip if in a corner, steering control, etc etc... all these metric remains important...

anyways looking forward to your initial review, hopefully you can do onevafter 1k run in... and a final one after 10k biggrin.gif thanks

To me MC5 is a lousy tyre.. my Ori Civic FC fitted with MC5.. when botak, changed to MC6. Overall MC6 is good just so so on wet. now im on MC7 for 1 week+.. also went Genting.

I would say the improvement from MC6 to MC7 is noticeable. More grip, comfort and quiet vs MC6. also perform better on wet. The feeling is like the improvement from MC5 to MC6.

Now high speed corner lagi siok on MC7. brows.gif Never try PS5.. over budget. RM 550 vs RM 404 (MC7 215/50/17 @ shopee 7.7)
