does anyone try online ,use debit card and get cashback?

i tried. I didn't get any cb for online purchase using debit card.

All the CB's i got was from from terminal/paywave purchase. But i've already maxed out the CB, so cannot test anymore.

Can confirm got cashback for the 11% promo until 30th June 2025. Just that the cashback is not credited into your account on the same day, as long as the transaction status still shows "Processing". Bought a RM150 car part on Shopee and got RM10 cashback 2 days later.

For me, I rather use BoostBank than GXBank becoz of two things :
1. Interest rate for savings jar/pocket way better than GX (3% vs 2%)
2. Ability to use Google Wallet Tap & Pay function on my phone (Bank Rimau now has this oso but Bank Rimau will not give you any daily interest).

as expected from boost bank.
We’d like to inform you that the campaign’s cashback RM20.00 has officially reached its maximum limit as of 24th June 2025. As this is a month-long campaign with a fixed total cashback allocation of RM100,000, no further cashback redemptions can be made beyond this point.

1. yes interest is higher than gxbank but lower than aeon bank. in term of stability, gxbank and aeon is better.
2. think credit card better benefit than google wallet.

any guys of you facing boost bank dormant before? last time i put some money in boost bank and after 12 months of inactivity, now it is dormant. and when i call customer service, it ask me to email them. and when i email them and give them all the details, then they said their backend team is working on it and ongoing investigation may require approximately 7-14 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays). i thought reactivating dormant account should be fast and easy. i think after this i will just transfer out all money from boost bank

In order for me to maintain ZUS Jar, I did topup ZUS App RM10 using Boost Card on 27th June but up until now the transaction never been posted as below.

user posted image

And it made my jar disappear on 1st July. So now I Topup another RM20 this time by paying using Boost Wallet in ZUS App instead of Boost card and the Jar re-appear back.

Moral of the story pay via wallet checkout next time.

Seems like they avoid answering the question because of true then no more RM8 annual fee. Basically they don't want people to cancel the card. Looks like the only way is to close the account entirely.

Yes. that is the only way. it like a trap, force you to take the debit card. either you use or not and pay fees
i already had few bad experience on vague promo to force people & fall into their trap.
