what to prepare to get a car? cash and license?

anything to check for the car? thinking to get a Saga.

Added on October 27, 2007, 4:35 pmI saw some saga have a little wing, but some do not have, and some just have   a nice Saga word , is the little wing doing anything special? thanks
*
The version with Wings are more expensive version in case of LMST. The cheaper version dun have. THe little wing look nice as the rear boot doesnt look tat flat... beside tat i dun really think it ll affect our aerodynamics...

i'll take some shots of my dad's car tmw n show u
supose to be very well fitting n all smooth
so means urs oso like mine izit?...

trust me
it does effect the aerodynamics
as it is,...the iswara's aerodynamics isnt the best...
adding something like that at the back (what kind of airfoil has a FLAT leading edge to begin with?!)...just before the end will increase the turbulence n vortices...
try simulating it in a computational fluid dynamics software n u'll c wut i mean wink.gif

what car you driving?
if you are talking about the stock gear lock thats infront of the handbrake n just behind the gear shift,...then thats easy

pull up the handbrake cover
its just clipped in
then unscrew the whole plastic frame
there are two screws right infront,...1 near the clutch and one on the other side
there are two screws screwing into the floor board (these are just about under the power window buttons)
and then there is one just under the ash tray which also screws downwards.....but this screws into a bracket
the 2 screws that screw into the floor board will be abit stiff to take out the 1st time coz there is undercoat at the bottom of the screws

once the whole plastic frame is out,...you will be able to see the gear shift lock
if im not mistaken,...its just bolted into the frame
i cant remember exactly how its anchored in...
i do remember it is ver simple  laugh.gif
but if you've got this far,...you should be able to figure out how to remove it at a glance

just unscrew/unbolt it,...and then put everything back together
should take about 40minutes all in
wink.gif

btw,...y do you want to take it out?

err...that doesnt look like an iswara to me...more like a wira or sumthing
but anywayz...
that type is better anchored into the car
u still have to take out the center console where the handbrake is
it is bolted into the ground
either it shares the bolt with the seat rail or it has its own
i cant remember exactly
but its not that hard to take off either
just needs a little time
y do u 1 2 take it off nywayz?

It's a satria as said.
Getting in my way.

I tried removing the screws but I can't seem to open the console..
I tried asking shops how much they charge for removing it and they quoted me RM15,not worth letting them do it.

ops...missed that one
hmm...did u take out the screws inside the console? (after popping open the handbrake cover) and also the one below the ashtray? (assuming urs is the same as the wira n iswara)
