Doesn't make sense to close the system. Your income and liabilities changes all the time. What's the point of this if it doesn't use updated data?. It is just a lie by the gov to trick people into signing up.

Salaries & expenses keep changing... Like loans finished paid or you add another new loans... So expenses increase...
Company gives you pay rise (yeah right, now??? Cut salaries got lah)

So needed to update time to time....

The main problem was that Rafizi was trying to score big politically and just like any armchair general. He went in way over his head.

If he had just launched Padu in the beginning with the main objective of only getting people who are eligible for subsidies to sign up. Then it would be a roaring success .

The problem is he was too ambitious and wanted the whole country to register hence the tight deadline scare tactics expecting that people will sigh out for fear of missing out. Main problem is there's no carrot only the stick for m40/t20.

Second is people are weary & cynical of the govt after a year+ of empty promises. If Padu was introduced in 2018 when everyone was very optimistic of the govt. More people would willingly sign up even if there were no benefits.

No, they won't close the system and it has to remain open the entire time. Info is only useful if it's up to date especially in today's modern era. Just a scare tactic.

At the most, people will just need to submit documents to confirm their latest info is correct. E.g. latest payslip or job acceptance offer.

Guys so PADU should B40 sign up or not or bcs of the low sign up gov will find other way to hand out the subsidy???

If government do like MLM style recruit sign up get rm50 to rm100 ewallet credit, confirm sign up gila fast lo

B40 should sign up provided is true B40 , not the celup type.
M40 dreaming of handout should just continue dreaming.

IMO, Padu is just an excuse for the gomen to reduce subsidies.
