Apple silicon can't even use native database application, how the fucuk going to dominate the business users.

Oil and gas system are very complex with huge databases, need to use Windows servers hardware.

normal consumer applications like browsers compiled for arm64 still sucks, a lot more tooling improvement is needed before x86 can be "dumped".

How cheap is the ARM version? Those high-end Snapdragon are not cheap.

Some companies don't like to use SaaS.

There are many disadvantages of SaaS.
-Data Security and Privacy Concerns
-Dependence on Internet Connectivity
-Limited Customization
-Vendor Control and Lock-In
-Downtime and Service Outages
-Long-Term Cost
-Lack of Control Over Updates
-Regulatory and Compliance Challenges
- Performance Concerns

I see. Yeah, for those stil using the native x86 applications, then maybe need to stay on x86 la. Will take some time to transition or maybe they won't if it's working, why change

lolwut?
x86 has been smooth when it come to web browsing since i dont know when.
video playback/transcoding are mostly depended on GPU now unless you want those extra quality compression with slow encoder preset.

the only main generalized use cases left for the need of faster CPU other than those niche use cases were high FPS gameplay, which is something ARM yet to deliver, most likely due to low clock speed and low size or high latency caches.
