i see..hopefully then can enable it someday..i'm not using esim yet but maybe good to have if available.. hehe

Haha... Same here. With two sim card slots, I dont see any needs why I would need an ESim for now.

it seems like maybe CN set does not have esim module due to some restriction in China. The easiest way to check this is the EID (esim ID) which is similar to IMEI but for esim.. our CN set does not have EID number (not available) so cannot register for esim. there's an option to activate the esim if we use global rom oxygenos but it wont work after clicking the "add esim".

so if i want to use esim, no point getting CN set right, even with global rom, still cannot use.

but it is dirt cheap laugh.gif

Yup very cheap...esim not a major show stopper since price point too much difference.. mind u that MY set does not include charger as well which makes it way more expensive

Dual sim negates the need for esim for the time being..

if referring to the SOT from settings > digital wellbeing & parental control > dashboard > screen time, mine seems to be generally more than 8hrs, no games.

worst day is 4hrs SOT when playing genshin whole day.

No issue with UV tg on the edge. SOT I get around 8-10 hours on heavy usage (mixture of wifi and dual sim 4/5g from 8am to 10pm. When travelling I can get like 5 hours SOT over 1.5 days with heavy gps photo and video taking. Try playing around with the screen refresh rate - on high you can customize each app refresh rate between 60-120

Hi, anyone is having issue using CIMB Octo app on OnePlus 12? It forced close during initial setup, no issue with CIMB Click app but this was.

Reported to CIMB customer service & informed me to install latest version... Where I've stated clearly I'm using the latest version from Google Play Store.

Ya. Rating is low & somemore enforce user to use this new app because the old app will be discontinued in Aug 2024.

I don't mind to report my issue to them but the way they handled customer complaints like shit.

For those using the Chinese version 1+12, have you encountered any issues with the provided 2-pin 100W charger?

I'm using the charger with a universal adaptor, but sometimes, the adaptor emits a sound like "zak zak zak" or electric leakage when charging the phone because it's quite loose when plugged in. Due to this looseness, the electricity leakage sound occurs.

ny the way, it's a cheap few ringgit adaptor. Scare of using it charge my phone now, using 30w charger on it now.

Use a good adaptor. Problem solved. It's not leakage. Its like short circuiting. One wrong move your whole motherboard fries.
