Received a call from TM, my 800mbps free upgrade will be further upgraded to 2Gbps instead of 1Gbps. The modem provided by TM can be changed to Bridge Mode?

Still speed issue Is back after 30 days with Black Box bridge mode. Capping 300mbps down 70mbps up but subscribed 1Gbps .Called TM reset port also issue doesn't solved. Tomorrow evening technician come over to check.
Either black box is culprit or outside issue will be known.
Also I'm mention them after black box this issue happened not with old Fiber home modem

Before FSU, Unifi upgraded the internet speed for some 800Mbps user to 2Gbps at no additional cost.

1Gbps for RM159/mth 6 month free bill.

With the bad routing, every night... Imma come back to Unifi once it is better. Now on Maxis fiber for 2 years and will see any improvement by then

Done with Unifi as expected Black box is culprit I'm guessing manufacturer defect. Almost spend 1 hour no issue solved. As results they just replaced with Skyworth combo box and issue resolved. But technician offered me either reuse my old fiberhome modem/ use combo box as bridge.
I'm just went for old modem + router setup. Re-setup ONU to gain internet access
Speed back to 930mbps will monitor for month.

Went to TM Point check the package. No RM159 1gbps. Instead, I got RM239 per month, 6 months waive, 24 months contract. LOL

But they didn’t mention about SWU. Since I didn’t request to port over others fibre service provider. So… ermmm. Dont know

I'm not alone looks like. I too faced to this issue gets 300mbps down. Raise complain to TM. Technician came and spend almost hour. Finally change from D blink black box to Skyworth combo box even tho speed is up I requested to reuse my Fiber home modem as I need use own router so. Problem solved. Skyworth combo box keep in store

Has anyone successfully free upgraded from 1gbps to 2gbps and the plan's name has changed? Mine remain the same name after so many months.

i ask where is my 1gbps free speed upgrade and they want me to sign new contract. Why do i need to renew just to receive the upgrade?

As far as I’m aware, there has no news that any 1Gbps that have gotten the free upgrade to 2Gbps except the person you quoted

My plan is still UNIFI 1GBPS - STAYWITHUNIFI 3.0 ULTIMATE MAX (MESH6) but my speed is already 2gbps since April. I'm paying RM380.45 (tax included). Also, since I've gotten 6 months rebate, I'll be like paying RM285.35 for 24 months.

I'm paying that amount since I renew my contract to UNIFI 1GBPS - STAYWITHUNIFI 3.0 ULTIMATE MAX (MESH6).

Initial 800Mbps (RM253.35) --> took SWU3.0 1Gbps + Ultimate Max (RM380.45 - 6 months rebate).

In April, I received a notification that my line was slow. After the technician came and fix, I've been getting 2gbps since.

Decided to prod TM a bit. Livechat with them on 7/7. Today got the call for the 1Gbps upgrade. CS just read out the terms of the upgrade - 800-1000/500, new modem/router (1-yr warranty), no charge for technician visit, no re-contract, price, UnifiTV & call package remains the same. Now wait for technician to set appointment.

The only thing I find strange is that, even though I was given a report number after the live chat, there's no sign of the ticket in either My Activities or My Orders.

I got SWU 4.0 last month. Unifi Mobile can terminate any time you want. I terminate mine after one week.

As expected the person who came was just a normal contractor who knew neither head nor tail of the issue. In fact I pitied him because he wasted his time coming over. I was also quite annoyed at TM because I specifically mentioned to not bring their contractors as this is way above them.

Anyway, his supervisor was supposed to escalate the case to their actual second level. Someone else is going to come in another hour or so, let's see.

I'm willing to fight for this because we are paying heftily for TM's 1gbps and this sort of speed capping is not fair to the customer. I pay for 1gbps I should get 1gbps over LAN at the very least. God knows I've spent quite a bit on hardware (2.5gbe ports) throughout my setup to enjoy even via WiFi.
