Report to TM, best type out a properly worded complain and the details of it and paste in their support chat, ask for report number, then lodge report with MCMC under unfair practice.

I've had their sales rep/distributor tell me one thing, and then do another thing to modify my account for """"upgrade"""" without my agreement, increasing my bill. Took multiple reports and months before reporting to mcmc, took 2 weeks to resolve after I reported to mcmc and got rebate for the months that I had to pay more.

Wow this is some next level scam tactic. Anything with "- Pro Upgrade" is supposed to be the Free Speed Upgrade.
However this is the first time I see " - Pro Upgrade (239)" with contract refresh.

Are you the account owner? Is it possible they actually called and someone else agree?

Should bring this to the attention of MCMC and KPDN. This is next level of unethical practice

Upgraded to 1gb for rm159 for 2 years contract. Waive 6 months. Still wifi 6 router.

I installed the 1Gbps SWU4.0 on October 17th and initially experienced frequent internet disconnections throughout the day, as reported by many others in this forum.

I decided to monitor the issue before contacting UNIFI or MCMC. My setup includes a D-Link as the modem and a TP Link BE550 as the router.

After a week, the disconnections became less frequent, with only one or two modem restarts needed.

By the second week, the connection was stable with no disconnection issues, and download speeds consistently above 950 Mbps.

It seems I won’t need to reach out to UNIFI or MCMC for a report after all.

UniFi offer:

Frist 6 months free 1Gbps (Save RM954) + 18 months of Rm159/month for 1Gbps

After 24 months it would be Rm159/month but the speed will be reduced to 500Mbps.

I am expecting internet speed to be cheaper in 2 more years

lodge a report and force them to give u a report number. Mine also same case with u. They will call u few days after u get the report number.

Has any Unifi Home Fibre user managed to remove UnifiTV, from the Unifi Home Fibre service?
Based on Unifi Home Fibre terms and conditions, it seems that UnifiTV is compulsory and cannot be removed.

apparently TM going to follow TIME footsteps, giving all ONR instead of ONT + Router.

for example: call 100, TM can look your ONR and do checking even reboot or firmware update if available, all done remotely

if management VLAN is off, then OMCI can enable back and do reboot (reset port)

well, seem TP-LINK didn't win the contract.

OMCI now quite restrictive, if have multiple OMCI alarm, your account temporarily banned, I had to chat with TM and re-enable my account



it's not fun, all my test become harder which can disable internet to protect other user from losing internet access due to GPON sharing fiber.

tldr; ONR make TM easier to see you... example: override custom DNS if government asked

It is free upgrade that announce by our minister last year. So no contract renewed
