Sorry took so long to update, the issue dragged on for so many days. 

Can confirm the ONU was bound to my account, that's why I couldn't setup the black DLINK ONR myself - it would refuse to connect. No misconfigurtion on my side.

Technician came over and he couldn't connect also. Problem was to call the NOC he had to create a ticket, and once ticket created its auto assigned he couldn't pick it up. Twice some other team picked it up and auto-closed it without even calling me or coming over (despite the status saying they came over and checked and resolved the issue, funny thing is the updates happen over hours like they're faking a realistic timeline).

Anyway on the third time he managed to find out which team was assigned the ticket and insisted they come over to the house with him, and then he got them to see that the ONR wouldn't connect but the ONU would and got the NOC to bind it to the black ONR. The backend team wouldn't allow to just unbind 

Anyway long story short, now I can get actual 1Gbps speeds through the 2.5Gbe port to my router. Before this speedtests were caped to 930Mbps, now they pass 1020Mbps.

ONR is set to bridge mode (through the wizard) and router is dialling PPOE.

BUT I've noticed that after about a day or so, when I try to do a speedtest the speed drops down to 300Mbps. Redialing/rebooting the router makes no difference. I have to reboot the ONR and then the speeds go back to 1Gbps. Anyone else having similar issues with the black Dlink ONR FX3060v? Firmware version is 2.0.2 This has happened twice now, got the ONR set up on Friday and on Saturday and Sunday evening noticed the same behaviour. Fully expecting the same to happen this evening or tomorrow morning, since I only just rebooted the ONR today and couldn't be bothered to last night.

This is what I did before (with the white variant) and no other settings done to do the bridge.

Either 79332400 or 21063000. Both are from HQ.

Also that number. I got my upgrade appt called from 79332400 and plan upgrade confirmation from 21063000 the same day after my installation is complete.

How much monthly? Mean, same monthly payment. But speed upgrades to 1gbps + 3 months rebate + contract bound 24mths?

Wait why they recontract you for FSU? The 3 months rebate now standard for all SWU upgrade previously 6 months. Are you sure they offer you FSU2023? To me it's not worth it to get recontracted for 2 years for a 3 month rebate in return. Did they offer it upright to you and you have no option? Geez TM nowadays becoming more greedy 🤦

If I were you, I will accept it since I will stay with Unifi and the free 3 months can average down your monthly payments to RM209. Unless you are Maxis user, right now I think can get RM159 for 1gbps and if you on Maxis own infra can get 3/6 months waive as well.
It supposed to be higher plan offers. He FSU from 500 to 800mbps already. Now Unifi offer new plan for him.

Oh so his 800 to 1G not FSU? If offer new higher plan retain old price, free 3 months, but recontract kinda ok to me. But if only he get the previous offer. Still not a bad deal though.

current SWU also doesn't seem to have good incentives for existing 800Mbps users as 800Mbps has been phased out by TM for 1Gbps, and 1Gbps is asking for RM239, free 6 months (based on a certain SWU extra variant)

You should ask them why you're not eligible for the free speed upgrade instead they put you in this hebat campaign. You should get free fsu without recontract. But if you're fine with the recontract it's not a bad deal afterall.

With technician or HQ customer service?

When the tech come to install just tell them nicely you want the black one because you want to utilize the 2.5gbe port. No harm asking. You might be surprised some of them are really cool people.

Ask gently with installer they should have stock just say you want utilize 2.5GE port for usages

The CS probably bad at math telling you free 3 months is better vs not having to pay for 21 months if you walk out of their service after 3 months 😂

When the technician calls before arriving(if any) or before he enters your house, ask to confirm the model. Both models have the same model number (DPN-FX3060V) but different material descriptions

If possible, ensure you get the black one, 2.5G LAN port to avoid any inconvenience in the future. 2.5G is always better than 1G. Otherwise, it will create a lot of trouble if you wish to change it later.

You can refuse the installation until you get the black model. I’m concerned they might be trying to clear the white stock.

I just got the ONU replaced by TM this evening, from model A1 to B1. I'm running on Bridge Mode and using my Deco BE85 as a router. I managed to get around 2085Mbps DL and 1037Mbps UL.

Yeah, that's the mesh unit. The technician didn't want to take it. He said it's totally fine not to collect it.

2 weeks ago, I contacted TM to request a change from the A1 model to the B1. They sent 3 technicians to my home the day after I made the request, but they refused to change the model, claiming that the A1 was still working perfectly. The initial report was closed, but I called TM again last Friday to follow up on the CLOSED report   . The CS created a new report stating that I requested the B2 model as I am a 2Gbps subscriber. On Saturday morning, a technician called to inform me that he didn't have the B2 model in stock and asked me to wait until today as they will receive the B2 model today in their TM storeroom.

Nope. But an additional RM53 on the next bill.

Indeed! The technician who came this time is quite knowledgeable. He asked about whether I preferred to use my own router so that he could set up the bridge mode on the ONU for me.
