u'll need time 2 get used 2 drive other manual car but us skill is da same wen u switch back 2 ur old manual car~
even i also have 2 get used 2 drive other ppl's car~
if not then later she say i dun love her lo~

is something like side-stepping technique.. the rpm seems to rev up itself when i'm shifting gear... i just got this car yesterday so bit unfamiliar with it as my transition from a carburettor iswara n camry which does not have such happenings..

auto transmission? it will rev itself every time u shifting gear although hot engine?

i guess ur leg din properly release the accelerator during gear change,try to let go completely or it happen during shift down then its normal,when we shift down a gear the rpm would surge up as engine braking.

from my experience the rpm only surge up lil bit during upshift when changing gear are for car that is equip with drive-by-wire throttle system if they do implant that on their ecu to do so..

yaya... it doesnt happen on down shifting (except side-stepping of course.. haha).. hmm.. mayb i shud some attention to my shifting... still cant get used to the clutch... thanks smile.gif

Mayb its the VVT working dats why it revs up when shifting need time for the dephaser to advance the valve timing

Underdrive pully is made smaller than the original pulley in terms of size...When it is made by aluminium and underdrived, it helps to reduce the workload of your engine, hence increase horsepower and save fuel. Faster pick-up can be gained instantly, and maximum horsepower gained across 3000-3500rpm.
