QUOTE(Edi8888 @ Oct 27 2007, 02:18 AM) Ehh dont say like tat, there always unlimited choices if it comes to modification, let it be ICE or performance. You can upgrade the ride & handling via going for strut bars, anti rollbars, aftermarket suspensions and coilovers. Performance, there is a wide options for that. From the mild aftermarket drop in air filter, exhaust, extractors and for the money no object KE-VET transplant or bolt in turbo, the choice is endless Just dont ever think of putting a 4G63 into the myvilah |

There is someone from the myvi club who has installed 18 inch in the myvi. Provided with the correct suspension settings & modification, he claimed the 18 inch handles well and no problem with underpowered issues.
Thta myvi is also the fastest myvi (with stock 1.3 NA engine) in the club, as i know. But as a recommendation, go for 15-16 inch upgrade will do. |

QUOTE(feizaiII @ Oct 31 2007, 12:27 AM) If i get the standard, dp 5k, 7yrs, shuld be RM653.83. For such RM40++ difference per month, trust me, get the myvi premium for the safe of mind. If i get the Premium, dp 5k, 7yrs, shuld be RM697.44. If i get 2nd car, dp 5k, 7yrs, shuld be RM529.83. IF compare to new standard and 2ndHand premium, its different RM124 onli. Different Standard and Premium is . Rear spoiler . Steering wheel with silver paint & chrome finishing . Silver painted gear shift bezel . Dual SRS airbags for driver & co-driver . ABS but my fren said PublicBank can get 3.4% for 2nd myvi, so montly will be RM515.83(Tis gonna check with her tmr) |

QUOTE(ApeKG @ Oct 31 2007, 12:04 AM) anyone willing to share their myvi fuel consumption? RM60 can easily brings me 400km++ provided i travel on the highways n less traffic. Unless if u stay in heavy traffic roads, maybe RM60 can last u 300-350km at least. if it has been discussed many times before in this thread, forgive me but i couldn't find it. thanks QUOTE(feizaiII @ Oct 31 2007, 12:44 AM) if onli there is Standard and Premium to choose. But now,i got the 2nd car to choose which is RM167 different. I may advise u to go for a new car. That for the safer mind since the difference on pricing is quite minimal.QUOTE(vin_ann @ Oct 31 2007, 12:53 AM) Sabah, in the Mountain/Dessert or not, having a car with airbags and ABS is still essential. |

QUOTE(camron @ Nov 1 2007, 01:58 PM) wah sei...facelift... The replacement of the kembara based on the new toyota rush/daihatsu terios is an high possibility, likely armed with the 1.3cc engine as heard from one Toyota SA UMWT plans to introduce the 1.5cc toyota Rush by 2008.i jz wanted to get my car le.. ya nothing is impossible.. anyway.. i will appretiate my car one no matter the facelift is out or not.. but i've heard the Kembara will be new model coming out la.. TOYOTA Rush 1.3 replacement of the Kembara.. Is it Daihatsu been taken over by Toyota in Japan? Daihatsu is owned by Toyota FYI, so indirectly perodua is under the Toyota family. QUOTE(doremon @ Nov 1 2007, 08:26 PM) Wanna ask something have any of you install Ultra Racing Anti Roll Bar & Ultra Racing Front Lower Arm Bar ? Just wanna seek opinion openly from you fine people. Our boss Cheeann already voice his opinion to me already. Time to seek other opinion. No offense tilo Cheeann If u can remember what i posted a few pages back, i did state that strut bars are overrated, esp for an non handling car like the myvi. However i believe its good to have an anti roll bar at the rear since the myvi does not have an rear anto roll bar. But before u putting ur money for ultra racing brand, there once in the myvi club forums, where somebody bought the rear anti roll bar and it went cracked a few months later. God knows how this can happened but if u asked me, i wont put my money for ultra racing brands anymore. If u can afford, go for the racy rear anti rollbars, which u can get from one moderator frm the myvi club forums. That the best u can go, but not sure if its available for group buy or not. |

If i were u even if the SC didnt verify the problem after 2-3 visits, i dont border go to SC and will resort to 3rd party body repair shop. The problem about 1 week after i get the car but i got no time to repair it immediately. I complaint during my first service. Recently after 9 time there only now fix..... waste so much time at SC. First service - complaint but they say cannot fix then, too busy.. need to make another appointment 2nd visit - go there for about 2 hour plus only to remove it... they say need time to clean the double side tape 3rd visit - go to put back the side skirting. Seem ok there, reach home the gap come out again. 4th visit - arrange another visit to SC after phone complaint, remove it and they claim another skirting for me 5th visit - go to put back the new claimed skirting. There seem ok, but the gap again after 1 days 6th visit - go AGAIN to remove the skirting .....need time to clean the doubleside tape 7th visit - go to put back the skirting AGAIN.... say use better quality double side tape..... after waiting for 3 hours... they say sorry.. the skirting seem curve already... so... how they put it also got gap.. so take picture and claim for new skirting AGAIN.... 8th visit - week after raya go to put back the newly claim skirting AGAIN... then they say sorry.. forgot to call me.. their subcontractor not yet back from raya.. skirting is there... not painted yet... QUOTE(Twinchest @ Nov 20 2007, 09:41 PM) if myvi hard to start, what could be the problem. I had this FIRST problem yesterday. When it able to start, i can see the white smoke comes out from the ekzos. (usually the smoke is clear, not white). ODO meter is reaching 15,000 km. Any advice? QUOTE(Twinchest @ Nov 20 2007, 10:07 PM) I have to turn the ignition key a couple of times. After a few times then only it start to work but like wanna die . And the surrounding was cold due to heavy rain. Would that be the key reason why it's like that? Hmm 2 different stories. Better check ur batteries since u mentioned ur ignition is weak when staring up the engine. These are some indications ur batteries are weak. Also there possibility a spark plug replacement needed. |

Well forgive me coz i dont really come to this thread at times
Speaking about engine transplant on the myvi, what i know its possible with the 4E from the old startlet and there already a few myvis with K3-VET, which taken from daihatsu YRV. But there are ppl mentioned its possible to place the 1NZ-FE, the 1.5 engine from the vios to the myvi. I cant find ppl who did this but i hope there will be someone sharing info on this. |

QUOTE(ceo684 @ Nov 24 2007, 01:03 PM) That the thing which i am interested as i was told the 1nz-fe cant be transplanted into the myvi due to different engine mountings. Somehow somebody mentioned in the paultan blog that it is possible. Also in the UK the 1.5cc sirion (the myvi) is sold there, using the same engine from the avanza. |

Now for some useful information:
The myvi topped the best selling car in Malaysia for 2007 from Jan-Oct. From that period It sold ALMOST 72K units, followed by the iswara by 36k units and Viva by 34k+ units. In the month of Oct, suprisingly the myvi still outsold the persona. Click here for more info. http://www.motortrader.com.my/NUS/articles...1176/page_m.asp |

QUOTE(cheeann @ Nov 28 2007, 04:35 AM) It wont. If everyone here meet for the 1st time i believe everyone will feel the same lvl. Once we talk about myvi then interest will come and our group will continue to have more topics. Just be humble and friendly and i believe things should do fine. Then end the TT with a car comparo segment, on showing off what mods u have done! (dont expect mine ok The myvi club TT was noring coz the group went too big. With our small scale i believe its handleable. Common, that our chance to meet up and talk about our car! Other car threads aledi did a few round, and why not us? Also i dont want david83 to win this time |
