i had been testing hotlink in terms of coverage and speed for almost 3 weeks+ now...
so far so good, there are some blind spots but overall still ok..

for digi i think overall still slightly better than hotlink...

so still deciding if i want to really switch to hotlink or not...

I go everywhere with hotlink and digi so they no perfect telco but can say most places have coverage

no need top up. u can buy rm1 day validity for 2 days to activate your line.

if got two lines then it becomes redundancy which are good, but most ppl likely will only have one active line so still need to decide between the two to see which one is better.

i think higher chance i will go for hotlink in the end, becos i personally prefer maxis as telco more...
and hotlink is the only one that has free data roaming for some asia countries... can be useful when i visit bangkok next time.

and i found out hotlink has more random promo more than digi now.. digi used to have free credits etc for top up.. but now super super rare..

but i need to use up my remaining rm27 first... at least top up to subscribe to rm25 plan for one more month before i switch to hotlink...

Consider hotlink sabah I personally use it now .

Hotlink Sabah need to get it from Sabah or can get from KL?

As long as agent from sabah can already just you don’t get to enjoy the 5g benefit but 4g is already good enough for casual user

Cheap rm18 per month
Unlimited calls and 60gb 4g data with maxis coverage. Nothing get cheaper than that with the best telco like maxis

There is really "enforcement" of that no-5G unlimited quota if being used outside Sabah?

So if the phone is on 5G and outside Sabah, it will deduct from the 60GB 4G quota?

for me, the rm25 40gb hotlink plan to me is more than sufficient..
