Toyota SA said CC face-lift end of November, Yaris Cross is next year already. It does look like YC will be assembled in own Bukit Raja factory rather than in Rawang. I suspect the volume will be too high for Perodua to cope. The Bukit Raja plant had high unused capacity.

Toyota big boss now is Sime Darby. Toyota internal restructuring over the past 1 year. Many high level pple not retained like those old days. Contracted one all cut.

QUOTE(Icecoolz93 @ Sep 11 2024, 10:52 PM) It is not logical because the more expensive variant should launch first hence Toyota should go ahead if really got stock.More likely Corolla Cross EPB going ahead Q4 this year and Sime Darby want to avoid Yaris Cross launching in the same period |

The YC will undoubtfully eat into the CC's market albeit the CC is slightly bigger in size but if there's a gap of RM25-30K, why not? YC looks better too.More likely Corolla Cross EPB going ahead Q4 this year and Sime Darby want to avoid Yaris Cross launching in the same period Hence, Sime will make sure the bigger brother with bigger price tag sells first. dogbert_chew liked this post

More likely Corolla Cross EPB going ahead Q4 this year and Sime Darby want to avoid Yaris Cross launching in the same period If i recall correctly Alza was launched a few months earlier than Veloz Maybe there's some internal agreement between Toyota and Perodua dogbert_chew liked this post

Not sure how their other model fare. Hence, waiting here for YC or CC face-lift.Is alright I start eyeing MG HS btw below 150K get a C segment car I wait Yaris Cross launch till I moding already. https://www.mgmalaysia.com/models/mg-hs/ Thailand alot of MG btw also build quality on par with Japanese counter part after I saw the car 1st hand. |

So Perodua Nexis will not launch in 2024 and may not launch at all in 2025. Same go to Toyota Yaris Cross. Totally drop from Malaysia market?

so far all the KLIMS coverage on youtube focuses only on the eMO-II at the Perodua booth, no surprise appearance for the D66b
this means further delay for YC if Toyota really had agreement with Perodua to let them release first |
