QUOTE(jhleo1 @ Jul 18 2024, 07:26 AM) Hahaha..... just kidding. Maybe TYC not going to launch in Malaysia? So Brands like Ford and Hyundai has a better breathing space. Sime has commitment or KPIs to meet when they are awarded with the distributorship for those brands, can't afford to let them die. So the reverse strategy is to soften the impact TYT make LOL jhleo1 liked this post

They only have the pickup and SUV cum expensive pickup. Hyundai again looked like a failed brand in Malaysia. Their early push on EV seems to sizzled out already after the Chinese EVs came in. |

QUOTE(Icecoolz93 @ Jul 18 2024, 09:38 PM) BAIC soon launching B Segment SUV around RM120k & Jetour selling Dashing around RM120k too, more competition coming in with more complete features to be launch 1st then launch 1.5 years ago debut (outdated) Toyota Yaris Cross in Malaysia.Good Luck Toyota & Honda after More China brand come in then they feel the heat recently with rebate kaw kaw alot stock. (Yes all want settle before cant 100% full loan in August) Honda force to include all the basic features on lower spec car but increase price of the car to compete with the China brand car with price war. For those plan to buy for long term use sure dint care about 2nd value. Obvoius want clear stock on Toyota Yaris because is a discountine model on other country. Corolla Cross also make way for facelift. Mitshubishi XForce might tak jadi because hard to compete with China brand car because selling price expect will be pricier that why going to focus Xpander facelift prioity. Well competition is good if not those car brand exsited in Malaysia if not monopolise or no inovation. Like what happen Mazda CX5 overseas facelift and more features but Malaysia facelift like minimal then launch so called facelift & new price expensive not worth it almost a Lexus BMW pricing. ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by Icecoolz93: Jul 24 2024, 10:14 PM |

Itu Automachi now mentioned September/October launch pula. I think it's possible because was told by a Toyota SA today, the bigger CC face-lift end of year or Q1 2025. So, sort of properly spaced out between them.

QUOTE(Icecoolz93 @ Aug 1 2024, 09:30 PM) Aruz basically eaten by Alza. Better just kill it off because Perodua production capacity already hit it's limit. dogbert_chew liked this post

Well Automachi many times mentioned this kind of info on TYC. NO way that Toyota SA no idea and no training given at all in advance. Don't put high hope on what Automachi said. QUOTE(contagiouseddie @ Aug 1 2024, 07:57 PM) dilip17 liked this post

Any update from your side especially the Headlamp mass production timeline? Or scrap the idea now? QUOTE(Akmall540 @ May 3 2024, 05:25 PM) dilip17 liked this post

QUOTE(dilip17 @ Aug 24 2024, 12:51 PM) If not to slow let China car overtook the market. You see now Honda & Toyota desperate to sell alot ready stock car as high rebate even CRV mid month intro RM2k cash rebate. If they dont take action gg thier market, you see MG grand just launch a Civic rival below RM100k some more. |
