Mee too. Down from 500mbps to 300mbps after 6 months payment free period.

Called up Unifi customer service. The cust serv rep was really good. Had info on products and deep technical knowledge. According to her the speed suppose to remain at 500mbps. Anyway, lodged a report and she said the 2nd level will investigate.

I only have this info when I login to TM Unifi website under "My Account Details". No info regarding the speed upgrade I will get.
Where you all get the speed upgrade info from?  confused.gif  Clicking "Find Out More" just redirect to the FAQ site of the Free Speed Upgrade 2023.

I am still paying RM129 (excl. 6% tax) for 100Mbps down 50Mbps up speed.

Location of service : Ipoh

UPDATE: After calling TM, they confirmed that I got the upgrade already. So I deleted my QoS limit for bufferbloat and I got ~330Mbps down. It is weird though, I never gotten an email or SMS confirming my upgrade.

Where to delete QoS limit for bufferbloat??

Check the bill. For SWU 3.0 (300Mbps) plan, it show advanced 500 in the bill. Remain the same after 6 months.

that plan name is important. If you want to change plan (upgrade/downgrade), relocation, change ownership...etc all will based on that plan name.

You mentioned you relocated and the speed was back to 300M

So did you complain about it and managed to get your speed back to 500M?

Would like to know just in case as I see there is no effort in updating the plan name for most of those on old or non SWU account

Same as you unifi upgraded from 300 Mbps to 500 Mbps. Using Tplink A6 router can get ~290 Mbps wireless speedtest. Now only get ~250 Mbps after upgraded, router follow same setting.

May purchased Tplink router ax53 or downgrade to 100 Mbps, no headache.  biggrin.gif

Did you upgrade your router to the TPLink AX53?

I was also upgraded from 300Mbps to 500Mbps on 7 Oct 2023.

Previously my old Huawei router can only get max 270Mbps on Wifi, before and after the upgrade to 500Mbps.

After upgrading to TPLink AX53, I now get this..... tongue.gif

it was originally turboed back in 2018 thanks to gobind, so became 500Mbps. after that, TM initiated another round of free upgrade speed to 800Mbps but yea, name still the same at 500Mbps but i'm getting a steady speed of 800Mbps whenever i do a speed test.

Just recently got upgraded last Tue (12 March 2024)

Original Speed: 800 Mbps
Add-ons: -
Date upgraded: 12 March 2024
New Speed: 1 Gbps

The technician had to come to replace the original modem + router with a new modem/router combo

Previously was using the FiberHome Wifi 6 AX1800 Wireless Router now using D-Link DPN-FX3060V.

The signal coverage isn't that great, any advice?

Just for anyone who might wonder whether this Free Speed Upgrade affects the contract, I just confirmed with TM, it does not affect your contract.

So for those who does not have contract with TM, you're still a free bird.

I'm still on the unifi 800Mbps (Turbo Upgrade 2018), the 2023 free upgrade notification also gone from my selfcare dashboard.. I guess I'm not getting the free 1gbps upgrade then.
