Social responsibility & you get this "Malaysia Renewable Energy Certificate (mREC) recorded in the form of an e-certificate" For some company it's a requirement if you want to do business with them.

Dear all solar sifu here, need your advice.

My house has single-phase power with an average TNB bill of RM300+ per month. Currently, I have received 3 solar system proposals as summarised below:

1. JA panel 590Wp (N-type panel) + Solis 1P5k inverter - system size 6.49kWp (11 panels) - RM 20k

2. Longi panel 580Wp (P-type panel) + Solis 1P5k inverter - system size 6.38kWp (11 panels) - RM21k

3. Trina panel 600w (N-type panel) + Hoymiles microinverter x 3 - system size 7.2kWp (12 panels) - RM22.5k

Is the system setup good for a single phase? Are there any other factors to consider before deciding which one to go? The TNB contract mentioned for a single phase the solar output should not exceed 5kW so the extra kW installed will be a waste?

Seems options 3 is the best of the 3 but asked them to give the 4 units Hoymiles model no first.

Where is this B- 10% came from? I thought ktard all making 20k or more?

Did you also get Tera quotation with detail spec?

The Hoymiles model is HMS-2000-4T

They installed the installed the solar system at my parents house.

Something does not seems right, 4x2000W=8kW inverter power, it's over the SEDA 5kWac limit for single phase, can approved? I requested for 6kW also my RPVSP won't submit for me

The price is before 4k rebate and the salesman told me microinverter is more expensive than string inverter.

If 3 is slightly expensive! Too bad their IEC 61727 certificate for SEDA not ready yet.

Any idea hoymilles 2000 microinverter , is it compatible with battery, as nem only last 10 years , and we are on our own after that

Costly, need AC couple battery! But by 10 years time new technology, don't worry too much. Just go for it!

i go for same plan and company, but with Huawei String inverter.
