QUOTE(rthj @ Mar 1 2009, 01:58 PM) errr.....6500a, when playing the m2ts file.... i can switch btwn the audio tracks and subtitles. the only thing that doesnt function well is the chapter fwd and bkwd thing err.. if you have ripped your own collection you will know not all M2TS main movie is a single large file. some are split to several large files. hence if your player doesn't support seamless branching, you will have playback problems with some of the movies..

QUOTE(andyz @ Mar 3 2009, 01:43 PM) copy everything from the bluray into a folder... not a iso ... why make iso .. when you can copy the whole bluray....
bro, what do you mean why make ISO? ISO is the original BD disc image (every thing including the copy protection is inside), BDMV+certificate is not 100% the BD image.. it's derived from the BD image..some data which may or may not affect movie playback depending on player/software is missing.

QUOTE(geforce1999 @ Mar 3 2009, 01:36 PM) sorry andyz, when you meant BD rip did you mean copy the whole folder over? or BD rip = BD iso? Have you tried BD ISO? Just want to know more before puchasing it... Thanks in advance for the answers. so far only PC using image mounting tools like daemon tools + paid software like Powerdvd, and one other standalone HDD+BD drive player can play BD ISO directly.. I suspect the ability to do this need to pay BD royalty so these DVICO/NMT/ all can't do it with official firmware.... (maybe alpha release or limited 100times demo mode) Added on March 3, 2009, 2:04 pmQUOTE(andyz @ Mar 3 2009, 01:59 PM) u need to use anydvdhd program to extract everything from the bluray ...is this what u mean?? yes. my backed up BDs many in ISO format (you get every thing, menus, BDJ).. unless some weird reason why it can't play properly in Powerdvd then just extract to BDMV folder and use the largest M2TS file to playback via MPC-HC (no BDJ, no Menus) This post has been edited by ar188: Mar 3 2009, 02:04 PM

QUOTE(andyz @ Mar 3 2009, 01:59 PM) i name the folder with a name i can remember.. let say 2001 space odyssey.. but inside the folder got bdmv folder ... but the minute i click on 2001 space odyssey folder .. it immediately plays... yes this is how the program rips the BD. the movie title folder. (inside got 2more folders BDMV and certificate). anydvd will rip to this way or one single BD ISO way (2 options).

QUOTE(geforce1999 @ Mar 3 2009, 02:46 PM) but it will not be able to change the audio, subtitle & pop-up menu, right? if I'm not mistaken some stuff is already embedded into the M2TS file.. so maybe audio tracks can be changed (depending on player) if you click the MT2S file. for subs I'm not sure.. other stuff like main Menu, pop up menu, extras obviously have to play the entire folder instead of just selecting the single large M2TS file in stream folder coz it's the other smaller files inside the folder that make the menu..

QUOTE(zerorulez @ Mar 9 2009, 10:32 AM) thnx bro... how bout Dolby Digital? does it required downmix to play without AVR? from reading nfo of 720p and 1080p files i see most encoded in either DTS or AC-3 .. AC-3 is dolby digital rite but y in the nfo it says AC3 DTS??. and if i mux the mkv files to m2ts. PS3 only shows Dolby Digital never DTS.. if you convert/remux to M2ts, you have to make the DTS to DD also, cos PS3 can't play (not at current firmware) movie files with DTS (only physical optical discs like DVD can playback with DTS)..

"It's not LED TV but LCD TV equipped with LED backlighting," said Jeong Ho-young, executive vice president of LG Display. "The LED TV competition between our biggest rivals has been degenerating into a marketing game," Jeong said. "
